Great quality and service in a lovely setting (we sat outside on this occasion) . Marrowfat or mushy peas would have made a welcome addition to our lovely lightly battered haddock fillet and crunchy chips and turned our lunch from very nice to great !!. That homemade tartare sauce was also excellent. The Tenby Ale was also lovely. Thank you. Paul and Anita .
Friendly staff , fabulous food . Fabulous views .
Looked after us again - had a great evening on the Green with good food and some old friends. Good to see Dylan back in charge of the Guinness. See you at Witsun.
Fantastic meal and staff were very helpful - can’t fault . We ordered of seafood menu a d both starters and mains were divine 👌
Very accommodating and super service, food was a cut above the rest
Main course on fish menu although delicious - we had cod- was rather expensive . We would have liked some green vegetables as plates looked bland with Samphire and asparagus more of an accompaniment . We appreciate prices have to reflect the costs after lockdown but sadly at these prices we will have to visit less.
Lovely food can’t wait to visit again
Beautiful views and great service.
Brilliant meal, great staff, wonderful location.
Lovely Sunday lunch - thank you!
We had the most incredible meal on Friday! We both had lobster, I also had goats cheese and sticky toffee putting and it was divine. Our waitress was lovely and so apologetic when we waited a long time for our drinks (the machine malfunctioned which we completely understood ) which is the only reason I have taken off a star for service!
Lobster and oysters superb!
Great food and service, sat outside in The Shed (due to restrictions). Atmosphere still great and certainly didn't spoil our enjoyment
Very friendly staff, excellent food, fantastic location.
During a mini break to Pembrokeshire we ate at The Griffin. We had two excellent meals there during our stay. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and providence of the food and are all so friendly and accommodating. The seafood and fish are the highlights and on both occasions we were impressed with the food. A great drinks choice too with regular special ales. Highly recommended. Child friendly and dog friendly too.
Very pleased with take-away on wet Saturday night and delighted with meals on Monday and Wednesday - the first in the Guinness Snug and the second outside. Our party of 4 particularly liked the John Dory and the Fish Pie. Service was excellent - friendly and efficient and very observant of the Covid rules. Would highly recommend and the setting is magical!
An excellent meal, friendly & knowledgeable staff. We have booked for tomorrow as well!
An amazing find on our tour of Pembrokeshire. Lovely snug area reserved for us. The lunch was wonderful. The John Dory and Sea Bass recommended. Also very enjoyable was the Griffin G&T! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
Lovely meal at end of a 3 hour walk. Very friendly staff. We sat at the terrace overlooking the bay. Be sure to pre book a table as the venue was very popular. Highly recommended.
The seafood was amazing and I could have eaten a plateful of the Pembrokeshire potatoes, they were lovely
The last time I ate at the Griffin was about 55 years ago and the only food on offer was a pasty , my how things have changed !!! We ate outside on the covered terrace . All the food we ordered from the really good menu was absolutely delicious, with great attention to detail . The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help . A wonderful find .
Very enjoyable meal. Delightful and courteous staff. Food was delicious. Loved the flavours in the fish pie.
Service was second to none, but the battered haddock was greasy 😥 everything else was excellent though.
Many thanks for a lovely evening. Great set up to eat outside
Great location for a drink and or food. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The Guiness sun was a fantastic addition!!
