We enjoyed a lovely afternoon brunching with good friends
We had a great evening. We enjoyed the food, the music and the stories. Thank you!
Excellent lunch in central Mississauga.
Your booking system is one off the most ineffective I have ever seen. We have attempted to correct a problem you have had for over 3 weeks. Over the years we have loved everything about the Glenerin but the new booking system is no good. This shows we had reservations for tonight, not so, ours are for Sat. Phoned 3 times to try and correct but as you see nothing happened. It will be interesting to see what happens on Sat when we show up. The reason the single star is because we did not go there tonight
Very enjoyable bruch. Our lady took excellent care of us. Food offered wide variety and was first rate.
Amazing staff, amazing service and amazing food!! we are absolutely satisfied!!
Excellent venue ...and beautifully decorated for the holiday season
Enjoyable meal, great service!
Good quality food, excellent ambiance, good service
Food was great. It was not clear when I prepaid that it included service, I didn’t get a receipt emailed
Christmas Eve Dinner with my Family, Was Wonderful, the Service, the Food , and the Comfortable room we were in at Christmas was Quaint , I was very impressed with everything and enjoyed my dinner and it made our Christmas very special to us. It was Beautiful . The wait staff was excellent!!
Everything was lovely as usual.
We booked for the Holiday Buffet and arrived to find out that they weren't serving buffet until the next day. Booking was confirmed, but no notice saying no buffet until we were onsite...had to settle for the lunch menu.
Most enjoyable way to celebrate Christmas Day dinner.
We have dined at the Inn for the last ten yrs for Christmas Day dinner buffet, always delicious, wonderful variety of food, very pleasant staff , love it !
Food was excellent, venue was excellent and service was excellent
The food was great. My only issue was a cancellation inhad with one guest so instead of 6 inhad 5 in my party. I called and the person misspoke to on the phone said that the manager would give me a refund after he asked me if I paid online and to just show my credit card. The manager told me there was no refund because I didnt get it within the 48 hours. The restaurant was packed so I. Not sure why he would not have refunded me one person. Paying close to $100 for someone who wasnt there when I called ahead seemed unfair to me.
For a Christmas meal that costs $90+ a person, I was very disappointed. There were none of the classic dishes such as mashed potato, green beans and pumpkin pie. The roasted veges were al dante. I also was shocked to see that a few of the hot trays had filler dishes such as scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Many parts of the turkey was also dry and hard to chew. All in all was just disappointed and I have had better holiday meal at Whole Foods Market which is pretty sad.
The room we were in was way too bright so ambience was like a cafeteria not a dining oom. Lowering the lights and having a candle on each table would have improved the ambience considerably. Food was ok but nothing special. Carving station gave very small portions for some reason. Very strange
Lovely Christmas dinner. Everything was beautiful and the food was amazing! This was our 4th year in a row at the Inn... we'll be back next year.
As this was our first Christmas lunch at a restaurant, we were expecting to be welcomed to a facility that spoke Christmas. Instead, we were taken to a room that was so utilitarian it was funny. The rental tables and chairs just said ‘welcome we just want your money’. There was so much you could have done to create an awesome Christmas feel without blowing the budget. Your previous guests have clearly got used to mediocre so this spread is quite acceptable to them. If that’s what you are after, keep doing what you are doing.
We had a great time on Tues. dining at the Glen Erin Inn. The only comment I would like to relay to you was that all of our prime rib dinners were luke warm. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed them very much, but it could have been hotter. Service was great!
My friends and I felt that for the cost of the buffet there should have been more of a selection of food.
