About The Glass Goose
The Glass Goose Bar & Eatery sits off the end of Federal Street amongst the concrete jungle that is Auckland city. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it is modeled off the idea of a Glass house. This contemporary yet casual eating and drinking space is a true garden like oasis. The view from the rooftop bar area give you a second to none up-skirt look at the Sky Tower and the grazing menu will have you hash tagging ‘foodporn’ like never before.
Previously had a bad experience here but had a lovely night the other night and was very well looked after. Glad I have it a second go
A beautiful ambience and great food.
Great service, super friendly and nice that for every Christmas Cocktail you buy, a can of food gets donated to City Mission
We used the online booking system on the Glass Goose website to book for a group of 11 - despite having booked a day in advance and receiving a confirmation email from the Glass Goose that our booking was accepted, when we arrived we were told by a waitress with a handwritten list of reservations that our online reservation had not been added to their manual list, and that the bar was fully booked so we were not welcome to stay as intended. Incredibly poor service for a bar to offer online booking services and not actually monitor them - we won't be returning.
Food-We had the hallumi dish and were recommended the potato waffle which came with avo on the side. Was really good considering I don’t even like waffles. The dessert, we had the ice cream one which wasn’t too sweet but in a good Way. Atmosphere- wanted to sit outside Cus of the Xmas theme but were seated indoors. Was still allg tho Service - was as expected. Waiter was attentive and nice and prob deserves a payrise lol. Value for money- was worth it since the food and service was on point.
Great food. Some more interesting non-alcoholic drinks would be a plus
Lovely service, and delicious food. All the staff we spoke to weee so friendly and helpful.
Great night at the Goose, the team looked after us really well, many thanks! Lance
Service was not good. Empty restaurant, dirty side plates delivered to table, drinks forgotten and had to enquire about their whereabouts midway through meal. Food serving small for price. Oysters not available... Because of first table booking? Very disappointed in comparison with previous visits.
Very quick but not not rushed service and tasty meals.
Great venue with the skytower right above your head! Perfect for 'after work' drinks with the team. Delicious food and great drinks options.
We enjoyed a great evening with friends. The food was great as was the service. Thanks to Gregor.
Lovely venue on a sunny afternoon. Love the Duck Fat Chips!
Amazing creme brulee, good portion size, and very pretty decor!
Great place to catch up friends
I never actually received my reservation confirmation so I wasn’t sure whether you had my reservation. Food and beverage were great but was very disappointed after enquiring about whether your pork was free range, to hear that it is not. Subsequently did not order any. Animal welfare should be taken seriously, especially at highly regarded restaurants such as yours.
Food was delicious!!
Always great service and food
Fantastic food, amazing place will be back
It took a little while to get our booking going, but the staff were simply amazing. Great place for our team to go to. Awesome food and service
Amazing food! Gorgeous and clean restaurant, Friendly and very informative staff and a great atmosphere. Definitely plan on coming back again!
Fantastic setting & great service thank you
Food awesome service awesomer. Thanks Serena,I hope I got your name right.
The drinks at Glass Goose are sometimes ridiculously more expensive for what they are - e.g. $16 for a Hendricks and tonic. I can’t think of another bar that charges the same for that drink.
