About The Gibson Hotel
An eatery in the true sense of the word, menus are designed so that customers can take things at their own pace.
Coda is the Italian word for ‘tail’. It’s also the term for the closing section of a musical composition, not to mention the ninth, and final, studio album by rock giants, Led Zeppelin. It also serves pretty legendary food too!
Coda combines stylish yet informal dining with simple, good food. Our dishes offer locally sourced ingredients with daring flavours and exquisite presentation. An eatery in the true sense of the word, menus are designed so that customers can take things at their own pace. Our guests can tap into a superb gourmet dining experience before heading out to party or linger a little longer on the outdoor heated terrace. This makes it perfect for an intimate gathering, a catch-up with friends before a concert or a bite of supper after a business meeting.
Our unique Wine Wall is the ultimate in wine theatre. Choose from towering racks housing the best Old World and Neworld wines, with our knowledgeable staff on hand to guide you through the terroir.
Please note our a la carte menu will not be available on concert nights.
Really pleasant meal before concert.
Delicious meal and wine, friendly staff, great value for money. Have always wanted to come here since seeing the restaurant on Irelands First Date and it didn't disappoint.
Great quality food every bite delicious
Second time I have visited in a month and honestly couldn't fault anything. Service, food and value for money all excellent. 😜
Couldn't fault it. Despite being incredibly busy the whole meal went like clockwork. Delicious.
Super hotel, spotlessly clean, great facilities with good standard of room. Staff extremely pleasant and totally helpful.
Service was rushed, managers & waitress kept asking for plates when we clearly weren’t finished our meals. Mains were brought out straight after starters. Felt like we were on a conveyer belt. Not an enjoyable experience. More training needed.
Was here on Saturday night before going to see Kevin Bridges loved every minute. The young guy on reception was a delight and the waitressing staff were amazing xxx will defo return. Was telling all my colleagues today how nice it was xxx well done to all xxx
I reserved a table at the restaurant to celebrate my MBA graduation but I was seated in the lounge instead. When asking for a table in the restaurant, I was told that all the tables were reserved which apparently wasn't true. All in.all, a very disappointing experience despite the nice food.
While we were served our Starter very quickly, we were waiting nearly 30 minutes and no sign of our Main Course. After My Husband had asked a waitresse, and the waiter that showed us to our table to find out what the delay might be,about 10 minutes later our Main Course arrived. Another Waiter explained that tonight (Friday) was very busy and he apologized for the delay and offered us compulsory drinks. While my Husband was satisfied with the explication for the delay,it was good business sense to offer the drinks. I had booked our table at 5.30pm as we were attending a Show at 3 Arena, with the unexpected delay we left the Gibson at 7.50pm having just 10 minute's to get seated before the start of the Show at 8.00pm. I would defiantly return again to the Gibson in the future.
Were really enjoyed our room, our dinner before the concert was lovely and we had a lovely waitress. It was a total let down the breakfast, everything was cold, didn't see any fruit and yogurt. Would have loved a fried egg, but chefs and waitresses so busy, scrammed egg was awful, so cold, have stayed in a lot of restaurants but didn't like the lay out for breakfast, a lot of improvement needed.
Goats cheese salad starter was very good. Supplement for steak really overpriced @ €8.00. Wasn’t mad about the main course choices. Veg and potato granish were cold. Overall bill expensive for What we got. I would def not return.
Food very good and service excellent. Great for pre-concert dinner
Lovely meal in a great setting. Nice menu choice and professional service. Would definitely recommend.
Booked for pre concert dinner. Despite being very busy service was excellent and food faultless. Thoroughly enjoyable.
We had amazing romantic dinner with my wife. place is so lovely. Food ia superb, athmosphere ia great. I love this place
had a wonderful meal before going to 3arena food looked and tasted great
Great for pre gig eats and drinks at the 3 Arena. Be sure to book though. Service was friendly and efficient
Myself and my husband were really looking forward to visiting the restaurant for our anniversary. We arrived 8pm our starters arrived at 8.10pm and it was cold. We ordered the duck bomb. Our main course arrived at 8.25pm. We felt that was extremely quick. While I was still chewing the waitress asked was I finished?Without me responding took my plate away which still had chips on the plate. I asked for a desert menu and was I never given one. We paid by 9pm and left very dissapointed. Extremely dissapointed with the service and felt the food was rushed given that the resturant was not busy. 45 minutes and our meal was finished and we felt that we had to leave as the staff stood around at corner chatting. Unfortunately I will not be recommending this restaurant.
We chose The Gibson for dinner as we were celebrating 10 years together and we we were also going to an event in the 3arena. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were all so helpful and very friendly. We are looking forward to coming back 😁
Fantastic for gigs couldn’t get closer to venue
Great Atmosphere great staff especially Claire she was wonderful
Great service from the staff in Coda. With drinks and tips we spent 150 euros on dinner for two before the Dave Chapelle show at the 3Arena so it was very disappointing to be refused admission to the hotel after the show. Your loss as we discovered Ruby's where we spent another 60 euros on drinks and where will eat next time we go to the 3Arena,
