About The Gibson Hotel
An eatery in the true sense of the word, menus are designed so that customers can take things at their own pace.
Coda is the Italian word for ‘tail’. It’s also the term for the closing section of a musical composition, not to mention the ninth, and final, studio album by rock giants, Led Zeppelin. It also serves pretty legendary food too!
Coda combines stylish yet informal dining with simple, good food. Our dishes offer locally sourced ingredients with daring flavours and exquisite presentation. An eatery in the true sense of the word, menus are designed so that customers can take things at their own pace. Our guests can tap into a superb gourmet dining experience before heading out to party or linger a little longer on the outdoor heated terrace. This makes it perfect for an intimate gathering, a catch-up with friends before a concert or a bite of supper after a business meeting.
Our unique Wine Wall is the ultimate in wine theatre. Choose from towering racks housing the best Old World and Neworld wines, with our knowledgeable staff on hand to guide you through the terroir.
Please note our a la carte menu will not be available on concert nights.
With the restaurant being the first dates restaurant it would be great to see the set up the same as the show. There could be card board cuts outs of the team for photo opportunities and it was terrible that the walkway was closed off. As it was my birthday they opened the walkway and I got a photo. Please set it up as it is in the show Olivia
Food was excellent, service was top quality. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of.
The food was delicious the service was very good is a place where you can try new tastes
Food was superb only surpassed by the excellent customer service from the waiting staff - would highly recommend
Great food and a very reasonable price for Dublin! Perfectly located for the 3 Arena.
Very friendly and efficient service
I didnt actually get to dine with you that night i wasent told the restaurant was only open weekends and concert nights the concert wss cancelled leaving the restaurant unopened and again i wasent informed so showed up to the hotel only to be told it wasent open
Delicious Food & Drink excellent service surperb staff !
Staff were so friendly.. Food was amazing, great value.
Staff were very unfriendly and very rushed...tables too close together...not a very nice atmosphere which was a pity as the food was of a really high standard.
€5.30 for a 750ml bottle of still water is a bit much.
Food was faultless. Very prompt service.
Relaxation room was gorgeous. It’s a pity to have to pay for the parking though!
Our meal was superb, perfectly cooked with excellent presentation. Staff were very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Such a lovely atmosphere and we weren’t rushed in any way. I will definitely eat in the Gibson Hotel next time I’m in Dublin.
Bar service was extremely poor, two bartenders hadn’t a clue what they were doing. Cocktails overpriced for a very poor mixture, whiskey sour. Not sure if they were new or that’s the standard you employ but was terrible really. Food service was ok waitress seemed stressed and annoyed banging bottles and cutlery down on the table, steak wasn’t good at all. Desserts were amazing though. Rooms were lovely, however design flaw in the AC not being in the toilet but rather in the main room and also that it cannot be turned off unless you remove the power card. Very loud system on low.
The selection was poor and not value for money. We each had 2 drinks, a bowl of soup and burger and chips followed by a coffee and it cost just over €50 each. We all had the burger and chips as we didn’t like the other items in the selection and the same with the soup. However the food we had was lovely and we did enjoy the experience but there are other restaurants nearby giving much better value for money. Would I go again? Maybe as I enjoyed the proximity to the 3 arena and the ambiance was excellent.
fantastic evening great food staff amazing we are both in our sixties partner did not know we were coming to the Gibson that night for a meal until we arrived and more so did not know i was going to propose until i got down on one knee thanks to all and thank you for the complimentary glass of champagne sent us very nice touch
While we reserved place and ordered drinks in advance, we had to wait at least half an hour to be served
We were so impressed by our wonderful meals - tasty, fresh, and beautiful.
Really pleasant meal before concert.
Delicious meal and wine, friendly staff, great value for money. Have always wanted to come here since seeing the restaurant on Irelands First Date and it didn't disappoint.
Great quality food every bite delicious
Second time I have visited in a month and honestly couldn't fault anything. Service, food and value for money all excellent. 😜
