About The Gibson Hotel
An eatery in the true sense of the word, menus are designed so that customers can take things at their own pace.
Coda is the Italian word for ‘tail’. It’s also the term for the closing section of a musical composition, not to mention the ninth, and final, studio album by rock giants, Led Zeppelin. It also serves pretty legendary food too!
Coda combines stylish yet informal dining with simple, good food. Our dishes offer locally sourced ingredients with daring flavours and exquisite presentation. An eatery in the true sense of the word, menus are designed so that customers can take things at their own pace. Our guests can tap into a superb gourmet dining experience before heading out to party or linger a little longer on the outdoor heated terrace. This makes it perfect for an intimate gathering, a catch-up with friends before a concert or a bite of supper after a business meeting.
Our unique Wine Wall is the ultimate in wine theatre. Choose from towering racks housing the best Old World and Neworld wines, with our knowledgeable staff on hand to guide you through the terroir.
Please note our a la carte menu will not be available on concert nights.
Over priced convoluted menu. Very limited choice. Atmosphere akin to dining in an office corridor. Good selection of drinks. Superb friendly and efficient staff.
Two single beds pushed together does not make a double, quite uncomfortable. Food is nice
Lovely food.. reasonably priced ...only downside quite small portions..
The meal was very rushed, giving no time to relax between courses. My main was dressed with fancy sauces which were not really nice and took over from the actual dish. Less is more somethings
The only criticism I would provide is that the dining area was too warm, this was true for dining in the evening at 6pm and in the morning at 10am.
Top class quality and service .
Super service, super food, super night!!
The waitress Simone in the Cuba restaurant was amazing! I asked her what cocktail she would recommend and didn’t disappoint with her choice! Would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone, it was lovely!
Just to add hiw much we enjoyed the meal and the service at Coda
Great service , fantastic food . Loved the ambience of the hotel . Very chic and modern design ! Would recommend ! A bit on a slow side in the bar area however overal it was a great experience
Great service, great food and would defiantly go back, however the only thing I didn't like or appreciate was a man at the door of the restaurant referring me to "chief" but other than that my mother and mother in law had a great evening.
Fun being in the first date restaurant, great service and atmosphere but the food was poor. Duck starter was lovely but small burger was poor quality and fabulous deserts. €39 for three course was good
Lovely food and staff friendly and professional
Nice place. We are staying at the GH on May 5th for 2 nights as we are getting married after being together 21 years. Really looking forward to it. Liam
Superb value for money service was excellent. I personally thought the menu options were limited. But I've recommended you to alot of people and i hope they all enjoyed it as much as we did.
Great food drink and atmosphere 😀
Myself daughter and partner were refused entry on Thursday at 6pm. Male security told us residence only and this was due to concert in the o2. I inform security I had a reservation in the Koda however we still where not getting in. I returned to Gibson at 6.30pm and tried again and spoke to a female security guard who allowed us entry. Very unhappy.
Good value for central location, delicious cocktails, could be more choices on the menu. Service very good. Starters very tasty if a little light in size, mains good, dessert ok. Would visit again.
Fantastic quality of food, great atmosphere and an extremely helpful & friendly team - 5 Stars !
Beautiful meal, portions were just right. Dessert was delicious.
Food was average. Shocked that the chef was unable to alter a desert to make it gluten free? It should be simple and down to plating. Service to quick, drinks arrived after the starters, barely finished starter when main course arrived. All to rushed and not able to enjoy.
Myself and partner had a reservation to eat here last Saturday night. We were maga late and once we explained the situation the staff were so understanding and held our table. The service was amazing. One waitress forgot a glass of wine while we received our drinks and the food arrived the glass was on the house for thier mistake. The cocktails were devine I've been thinking about that 'Love' cocktail since I've left the hotel! Ha The food. Was absolutely fantastic. Delicious. Very well presented, an art work. The deserts were little but enough. We had a 3 course meal. Bottle of red wine and one too many cocktails and the whole meal was under 150. . Atmosphere was great too. Will be back.
Dirty red seating , I was discussed . No atmosphere . Poorly trained waiting staff who couldn't care anything about those dinning. Overpriced food for what we got , we travelled over 200km on d night just to dine in the " first dates" restaurant , mistake we passed a lot better restaurants on route
The food was delicious and plentiful & our waitress was lovely, chatty but attentive. The early sitting suited us as we were going to The Script concert but I would like to try a later sitting just for the atmosphere. A really great meal for a really great price.
