Michael Daniel, chef and founder of The Gate, comments: “Since opening The Gate in Hammersmith in 1989, London’s vegetarian dining scene has become ever more vibrant and dynamic. We have always cooked this way, demonstrating the variety and flavour that you can create with great fresh produce and creative talent. There’s never been a more exciting time to make plant-based food - increasing demand and awareness in recent years has allowed us to flourish and grow. We welcome foodies everywhere, whatever diet they follow. We want to inspire the next generation of plant-based chefs and foodies at our new dining experience to St John’s Wood”
