This was one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a long while. Service top class, food top class, ambience top class. Highly recommended .
Superb food and service with lovely festive room with incredible views. We couldn’t have asked for more .
Felt awful as had no cash for a tip but will leave one next time we will be back
Lovely afternoon tea friendly staff with a full description of our food excellent service gorgeous building
Amazing experience! Fantastic customer service made to feel really welcome and the food was excellent
What a treat. Circumstances meant that we didn't have as much time as we would have liked to linger over our afternoon tea but that didn't stop us enjoying a delicious feast, beautifully served in a lovely Christmas setting. Many thanks to all involved.
A big thank you for the superb festive food, wonderful and discreetly attentive staff, the ambiance of the restaurant and the fabulously classy Christmas decorations. Made our dining experience truly memorable!
Outstanding food and value for money . Beautiful setting and attentive , knowledgeable staff .Best lunch I’ve had in a long time .10/10 !
A very pleasant experience. Staff friendly and helpful.
Welcoming and obliging staff and lovely food.
Lovely afternoon tea. Brilliant service from Mina and the Garden Room was a perfect setting. The food was outstanding, both savoury and sweet with exquisite pastries. Will definitely be recommending and returning!
Fabulous Christmas lunch, thank you
Food was thoughtfully put together, starters more interesting than mains which all needed more seasoning & taste.
Outstanding food at very reasonable price
Beautiful meal, really friendly service. We'll be back!
Beautiful food, gorgeous dining room and lounge area. Brilliant atmosphere. Service could not be better. Our waitress was professional, efficient, engaging, welcoming. Great views of the gardens and lake. Idyllic, we will be returning. Thank you to all. Christmas decorations and log burners, what more could anyone want.
Very impressed with the restaurant and the friendliness of the staff, will look forward to dining agaib
Absolutely fabulous food and lovely staff. We shall certainly be coming back again. Told loads of people about it too.
The room was just a little cold. However we couldn't fault the decorations, the friendliness of the staff and the food was excellent.
I’m afraid the restaurant was freezing and the marble tables didn’t help. The table setting was poor and the general decor needs attention. The food was acceptable. There was no flavour in the Venison tartare and the Turkey was just ok. The potatoes and vegetables were cooked well but sadly cold. We did inform the waitress. Overall very disappointing
Would have given six stars if I could. Perfect cuisine in a beautiful setting with great service. Back in December when you reopen
Amazing afternoon tea and service ! Everything brilliant. Can’t wait to come again
Lovely food & surroundings & delightful staff. Shame about the parking! I arrived to be told there were no spaces available & sent back down to the main (very busy) car park where I eventually found a space. I then had to walk up the hill, in pouring rain & very unsuitable shoes.
We had a lovely lunch with your two young children on a very wet Saturday! The service was fabulous as I was worried we might not fit in with it being a ‘nicer’ type restaurant, however no such worries, we were made so welcome and enjoyed a relaxed but very special meal. Despite lockdown it was a lovely atmosphere and we will definitely eat there again. The only thing I would change would be flatter plates for the kids as they had slightly raised plates that made cutting up fish and sausages a little bit of a challenge, but everything else was prefect.
Excellent service, it would be better if you could leave a tip on the card machine as we didn’t bring any cash. Really high standard of food.
