About The Frame Breakers

The name 'The Frame Breakers' stems from the infamous Luddite movement what swept through the framework knitting industry in the early 1800s, when new industrial knitting looms began replacing hand knitting frames, This threatened the livelihoods of traditional framework knitters - and they decided to rebel.
Here at the Frame Breakers we're firm believers in serving up deliciously fresh, locally-sourced food. That's why our dishes are prepared on the premises from scratch, using the fines produce from leading suppliers in Ruddington and wider Nottinghamshire area.
We like to think our food is a little different from your avergae pub grub. Our main menu breathes new life into traditional options like burgers, pies and puds, often enhanced with a dash of one of Nottingham Brewery's finest ales.
We also offer a selection of sandwiches, snacks and light bites to mix and match to suit your tastes and your appetite. Check out our specials board for the latest dishes. Where possible, we're happy to adapt our dishes for special delivery requirements. Please ask a member of our team for details.

Fancy a takeaway?
If you're in a hurry to get home, why not try our takeaway service? Most of our food items and coffees, plus selected beers, area available for you to enjoy at home - taking away the need to call elsewhere after you leave! Ask at the bar for menus and prices.
