We have been several times for Sunday lunch and enjoyed it but this one was not up to your usual standard. We had recommended 8 members of our family to join us. There was not enough waiting staff to cope with the number of people efficiently in at the time and the kitchen seemed to be struggling to get food out in a reasonable time. We waited a very long time for our food some of which was only luke warm as if it had been waiting round in the kitchen. Plates were cold. The sticky toffee pudding was awful - nearly cold, hard and dry. Did not eat. A shame that a higher quality previously experienced has seemingly not been maintained but we will try again another time and hope for a better meal but disappointed this time round.
Great food and great service. Will be back.
The food was disappointing. The pork belly was very dry and the pea risotto was very bland. We had enjoyed Sunday lunch a month or so ago and while we will return again ( most likely for a Sunday lunch) if the food standard is the same as our most recent visit we will not return.
An excellent lunch with friendly service; we will certainly visit again
