About The Flying Elk
In a setting best described as a modern Nordic cabin, we serve genuine food with influences from all over Europe. Enjoy medium-sized dishes to share, straight from the fire pit and straight from the heart – all made for easy dining with friends and family.
Whether Nordic produce, Nordic flavoring or Nordic cooking techniques, you will taste the heritage of Swedish 3-Michelin star awarded chef Björn Frantzén throughout the gastronomy.
We had a great dinner at New Years with my favourite champagne offered in the dinner. The restaurant was very accomodating when we had to quickly change our arrival time.
Nice place for dinner & drinks. Thank you for having us.
I booked through eatigo and despite the booking stating 2hr dining time limit the staff enforced a 90min time limit. This led to a very rushed meal service and uneasy feeling. Despite the food quality and service level being of good quality, being rushed to leave left a souring taste in the mouth. 90min is difficult to enjoy a meal and make me a return customer
Good food and service, especially with the Eatigo discount. Really enjoy!
I had a Christmas Lunch here and I really enjoyed it. Both food and service are extraordinary!!
Great food and good service overall. The choice of ingredients and the way the food is prepared and served translates to a great gustatory experience. Definitely worth a visit.
Very nice place nice atmosphere nice food Bit pricie but it’s vos of New Year’s Eve menu )) I would definitely recommend this place to visit!
The $490 beef short ribs was seriously over 50% fat and barely edible. Service was awesome but food has lots of room for improvement!
Fabulous food with service that matches the quality of the food! Waiters were knowledgeable about the food and very friendly.
this place is seeking for a buyout and I hope you guys dont end up closed
The food quality is very good but really the price to value ratio could have been better
The location and address was a bit misleading. Had difficulty looking for it. But once inside the restaurant ... totally satisfied. Friendly and helpful staffs. Great cocktail and happy hour. Delicious food. N great birthday surprise for my husband on the house. Great memory and experience. Highly recommended.
With the app eatigo this restaurant become perefect for food and drinks
The service was really bad and none of the staff really know what they are doing. I have to asked twice for my free flow drink. The food was great but could hv more options on the Main course.
Everything is good here!
We has a nice dinner. The starters were great. I order the beef rib which was a bit too tough. The staff was also great too. Thank you!
I liked most of my dining experience, but if I must make a negative remark, it was a tiny table for 5pax nxt to the door going to the terrace. Was too windy for the person sitting nxt to it.
It was a great experience for my girlfriend and I. We were promptly led to our table as I made a reservation. Great food with great service. The portions are generous and it was lucky we skipped the starters. The next visit we would like to explore the 'small' offerings which looked yummy and the portions small enough for us to try more dishes. A special mention and shout out to Ms Shasila Limbu who was very kind and attentive. A great evening!
It would be great if my choice on dessert.
food is perfect except the slow-cooked beef rib is a bit over seasoned
Quality food with good services
My lamb shank was delicious. The waitress recommended us to get a side each so we ordered the butternut squash and Kale small plate as well as the sweetcorn side. There was no need as the main portions were enough and we barely touched the sides. Have to say they were both average and we found the sweetcorn and cheese dish as very strange flavours. I ordered the Sauvignon Blanc Happy hour white wine from Chile. Its the worst happy hour wine i have ever had, really expensive for the fact it was from Chile and also the flavour was not good atall. Think you need to change that wine and choose a better region with a more drinkable and enjoyable flavour.
I used to love F&M when it first open ... food was so fresh and prepared well. I've been there twice in the past 6 months and it has seriously deteriorated. The food is not the same level of quality (fish was dry, tuna/watermelon salad had very little tuna, etc.). Even with a discount (EAtigo), it was not worth the price we paid. Unless it improves significantly, we won't be returning.
Great restaurant, with great food and the service was spot on. I def recommend to try Fish and Meat
