About The Five Alls
To The Five Alls at Filkins Cotswold Inn, a country pub, restaurant with rooms set in the picturesque Cotswold village of Filkins located between the historic towns of Burford and Lechlade on Thames.
With two restaurant areas, a large garden, a cosy alpine style snug with fireplace, a thriving village bar and four pretty double rooms designed by Sebastian’s sister, not to mention a large car park the pub has something to cater to all needs.
Our second visit. Everything was delicious and we will be back! One small but important point: When you deliver the bill to a table, don't then dissapear for ten minutes and keep everyone waiting for you to return with the credit card reader! If we want the bill it means we want to pay too, and the extra delay is just irritating.
It was a delightful meal which we thoroughly enjoyed. Full marks!
Great staff - very friendly. I will be back on my next special occasion :)
Amazing as always thranks to the chef for making the steak pie which was not in the menu very accommodating to say the least See you all again soon
We had a lovely evening at The Five Alls. The staff are friendly, the food is great and beautifully presented. Well worth a visit.
Thoroughly enjoyable evening, food was very good.
I was not comfortable being asked to hand over my credit card when we ordered our food. I feel this type of request especially in a pub is unprofessional. Slightly took the edge off our visit. Not sure if I would return because of this. Very nice pub in general and the food was great. and a nice garden.
Food was good. Enjoyed our meals.
i ordered the caramelised onion tart as a main course which was £13. it came with a dressed salad. the salad was plain wilting leaves with a bit of dressing and the waitress explained to me it was a slightly bigger portion than the starter. it was hugely overpriced. when i mentioned to her that i was unhappy, she didn't say a word, so i had to ask if she could pass the message on. real shame and wildly overpriced.
A lovely evening, great service and a friendly atmosphere
As always, the food was amazing! Lovely table tucked in the corner for our rowdy group. I’m very lucky to have this on my doorstep....Highly recommend
Table of six, three courses and empty plates after each. This is unusual for this family so must have been good. We had a great time, in at eight, out at eleven. Good times.
Really enjoyed the restaurant, beef was delisious. Service was nice and generally a lovely setting! Which I haven't visited for quite some time. Will be returning.
Pls try and add cask ales that are not Brakspears ...
Excellent lunch served well in comfortable surroundings. Thanks
You were very busy and probably understaffed had to wait ages at bar for drink.
Friends had raved about the restaurant but we were underwhelmed, it didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary. Twice a member of staff who was supposed to be serving us was distracted by other customers and dealt with them instead of us. Fish and chips was a real disappointment, chips could have been more appetising, fish batter was very greasy and a bit dark & bitter.
Beautiful pub in a beautiful village. Delicious food as usual
It is fine having young children at the restaurant for Saturday lunch but they need to be kept under some control.Continuous whimpering is not conducive to the best atmosphere. Other than that it was perfect.
Fantastic lunch - thank you
Revisit after one year and enjoyed the food very much. Will come back when in the area.
Food excellent and good value
Loved the magician. White wine was not chilled enough.
A thoroughly delightful meal and afternoon relaxing in the lounge. Unhurried and friendly. Excellent thankyou
