About The Five Alls
To The Five Alls at Filkins Cotswold Inn, a country pub, restaurant with rooms set in the picturesque Cotswold village of Filkins located between the historic towns of Burford and Lechlade on Thames.
With two restaurant areas, a large garden, a cosy alpine style snug with fireplace, a thriving village bar and four pretty double rooms designed by Sebastian’s sister, not to mention a large car park the pub has something to cater to all needs.
Incredible food, cant wait to visit again!
An excellent meal. Varied and interesting menu, well prepared and presented dishes and we were very well looked after. We will be back!
Very disappointed with shower in room 6 it was broken, parts were missing and the water trickled out of the drenchhesd. I was told something would be knocked off the bill. Still waiting? As we booked all nine rooms at least one other of our party had issues with their shower bedroom 8. The rooms weren’t cheap I expected better. You really need to sort out the en-suite issues they are letting down an otherwise very nice place to stay.
Just don't change anything. Excellent. Best sea bream I've ever had.
Very good dinner
Delicious lunch of chicken Milanese and treacle tart. Lovely and relaxing and very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. Would recommend and look forward to a return visit. Thank you
Great choice of food and wine, lovely service. Food was wonderful.
A very pleasant family experience, couldn't fault it. great staff working well !! thanks Richard
Lovely food, great service and puddings to die for! Will definitely return to this hidden treasure.
This is a terrific rural inn with a great welcome and an imaginative menu which lives up to its promise. Wonderful starter of fig, gorgonzola and chicory; also very fine soufle. Main courses of lamb tagine and lamb's kidneys (not together) were just great; though the mains were not specially summery creations. Distinctive desserts to match this high standard!
Fabulous food, lovely caring and attentive staff, always a special treat, thank you
Very disappointed with our visit. The pub and location are great. However, our food was average and the service we received was appalling I appreciate the pub was quite busy and there were two large tables in the restaurant that needed to be served However, I had booked a table for 6 also in the restaurant for 1.15pm and opted to eat outside. Sadly, we were forgotten by the staff. After an hour of waiting, I had to chase the staff for our food as our young children were getting impatient as they were hungry. If you cannot staff for the number of covers, you have booked then you should not take the bookings. The 20% reduction in the bill was welcomed however the poor experience took the shine off a nice family day out.
Outstanding service - but team overworked on a busy evening.
The food is of unbelievable quality . Always well cooked and presented the chef never fails to deliver very high class food across the entire menu. The staff are amazing, always friendly and welcoming nothing is to much bother .
A very pleasant evening and the restaurant coped very well with our party of 10, with the courses all served to each place at virtually the same time. Thank you - we shall be back.
A very nice visit, have not been here for a while. Everything was excellent, the menu was very good, compliments to the chef,it was difficult to choose what to have as everything offered sounded appealing, staff were lovely, lovely cosy restaurant in such a beautiful village. We shall definitely return !!!!
I had my 50th with 35 guests and we had the most fabulous evening, friends and family thoroughly enjoyed the evening and food great. Thank you to the Five Alls for making the evening so special. Kirstie
We come here regularly. This time the food was even better than usual. Excellent Roasties, beef and gravy. Lots of veg, and great starters. Service efficient and friendly.
Lovely meal, great food and drink. Only negative was Banoffee Pie which had an overcooked biscuit like base. Service very slow and not very attentive. Very nice staff but clearly not enough of them as all overstretched.
Really lovely family Sunday roast. Booked a table for 8 of us to celebrate my husband’s birthday and as soon as we walked into the restaurant we were greeted with friendly staff and made to feel at home. The food was very tasty and one of the best roast dinners I have had. A good menu choice for both food and wine. The atmosphere was very pleasant and we will certainly be returning soon and recommending the Five Alls to our friends and family!!
Lovely staff and fabulous food, highly recommend
