About The Five Alls
To The Five Alls at Filkins Cotswold Inn, a country pub, restaurant with rooms set in the picturesque Cotswold village of Filkins located between the historic towns of Burford and Lechlade on Thames.
With two restaurant areas, a large garden, a cosy alpine style snug with fireplace, a thriving village bar and four pretty double rooms designed by Sebastian’s sister, not to mention a large car park the pub has something to cater to all needs.
My favourite eating place in the area . The staff - the atmosphere and the food are all superb and the devilled kidneys are excellent . .
Food was delicious, duck was cooked to perfection. Service was perfect with attentive without being annoying. The baked Alaska was the best thing we’ve ever eaten. However ice cream was expensive.
Thoroughly enjoyable lunch to celebrate my birthday
Fabulous lunch, food absolutely delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed, we will definitely be back...!!
Lovely relaxing stay. Cosy pub in a great location.Staff were very helpful .
A lovely meal in a really nice atmosphere.
All good except your coffee, even the latte was much too strong. We decided not to say anything. I think you should ask if customers want coffee that strong. Hope this helps.
We loved our dinner. The slow cooked beef stew was fabulous!
Great food and great service
Fantastic food, great service, a lovely anniversary dinner.
Excellent Sunday lunch!
Very enjoyable evening
Food was lovely, would recommend to friends/family. Will be back
Exceptionally good service and choice of food. Aittle expensive and slightly overpriced but in view of the excellent service and food, this will not prevent me from coming here again for a special occasion.
Great food in a beautiful pub
an enjoyable experience which we will repeat.
Devilled kidneys were not good and were just kidneys on toast with gravy - please revert to the previous delicious proper recipe. Eggs Benedict should be on the menu.
Everything was great except the roast pork was really belly pork which tasted good but would not have chosen it! Also the creme brûlée had run out. But the fish and bruschetta were amazing as was the service
Eggs benedict on the menu please.
The beef was too chewy for me to eat so I gave to my partner. I told the lady when we paid after she asked if the food was ok, but she didn't say 'sorry to hear that' or anything, so i'm not sure why she asked. When I paid for a side of greens I expected to get a variety of green vegetables, but it was just a plate of raw cabbage. Was surprised there are no facilities for baby changing. Overall it wasn't a meal worth £70 for 2 and we wouldn't come back.
Very nice meal with friends. Staff friendly and helpful.
Excellent service and food every time we have visited
We were booked for 12.30 and arrived on time. We were shown to our table at 13.40 with no explanation or apology despite us commenting that we had been waiting for a long time. Our soufflé starters were over cooked, very dry and the cheese sauce was congealed and badly burnt in places, as if they had been kept warm for a long time. They were not at all enjoyable. We mentioned this to the waiter who denied that they were not fresh but who said he would not charge us for them. He didn’t however offer an apology. Service continued to be very slow throughout the meal. We had lunch with you earlier in the year and came back because we were very impressed on that visit. Today however was a huge disappointment. We had all travelled for over an hour from our respective homes to the Five Alls.
Lovely lunch hadby all in our party, will be returning very soon.
