We really enjoyed our visit. From the moment we arrived till we left we felt well cared for, enjoyed the friendly service and the food was excellent! Having the play area is a real bonus too.. our guests were able to bring their children and have a good time too. Keep on doing what you’re doing!
We had high expectations of this establishment as we had visited last summer. The girl who served us was rude and patronising. Big drinks menu but a lot of basic items were unavailable. They were not well stocked even though it was their first day of trading for the week. The handcut chips were dry and stale and tasted like chips heated from the week before. The bottled cold drinks we ordered at the same time came out separately with a major wait between them which was odd as they came from the same fridge. Most of our mains were fine though. The kids were still hungry afterwards as they couldn't eat their chips so we had to go up the road to supplement their appetites and we had a very nice experience there. Such a shame as this place has so much potential. Hopefully they were having a bad day and do not continue like this.
We’ve been to TFD last year and food was outstanding, hence we made the trip again to celebrate grandmothers birthday. Unfortunately it was a huge disappointment - service was very poor, there were only 6 items available on menu (as they’ve run out of most stuff) and the quality of the food was below average for the price we paid. We won’t be back again!
My absolute favourite place to be it’s such a beautiful spot💚 I can’t recommend it enough 💚 happy vibe the freshest yummiest produce straight from their garden💚 😋
