About The Erskine Arms
'The Erskine Arms’ is a traditional pub serving a locally sourced menu of homemade fresh dishes. The bar will have an array of great local Welsh ales, quality wines and soft drinks. We also like to stock the usual and sometimes not so usual selection of whiskies, gins, rums and other tipples.
Great Christmas Party, good atmosphere and food.
Staff very good and friendly, makes it worth while
Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, food was very tasty and the portions were generous. Very good value for money, 3 of us had 2 courses each plus a bottle of wine and two pints of lager for under £100.00. Staff were lovely which made the night. Have already recommended to several people.
Second time within a month and shall be back.
Good service and always good food.
Once again first class evening, our goto place for a good meal
We where a party of 18 & the food, service & staff where very good from start to finish, would recommend to others
Always a pleasure to visit the Erskine. We've never been disappointed by our visits to you. And you even managed to change out booking of 4 people, to 5. Diolch yn fawr! Alun
The staff were very pleasant and attentive, it was my husbands birthday dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Thank you 😃
Excellent food and service. Keep doing the same!
Lauren was very friendly and attentive.
Really enjoyed my visit. Food was top notch. Very tasty beef pie which was well presented & priced appropriately. Atmosphere was great; chatty & sociable without being too loud. Service was excellent. I’ll look forward to visiting again.
Nice touch sweets on the fresh towels!
Nice surroundings, pleasant, friendly, helpful staff. The menu was fairly standard pub food. Portions were generous, and nicely presented. We would be very happy to return and recommend to friends.
We don't usually stay at inns but we took a chance after reading the reviews. We weren't disappointed. From the manager down to the bar and waiting staff we had friendly and efficient service. The food was very good and the room was very comfortable. Punching well above its price point for accommodation, food and service. Thanks for a great stay.
I'm sure there are other places around Conwy which have nice rooms, good service and the rest. What sets The Erskine Arms apart from the competition is the food. And in particular, the three-meat Sunday roast. It's the best Sunday dinner I've ever tasted, and I've had a few. Brilliant location, excellent rooms, good service and delicious food. Will visit again.
We had a very nice meal and staff were friendly and attentive.
Sadly our beef was burnt around the edges and generally over cooked. We ate what we could of the meat. I was tempted to get up and find a member of staff but they were all running around busy and didnt come back to check on us (i.e Is everything ok with your meal) Once we finished our meal a member of staff came to clear our plates and we informed them of the meat situation. They kindly offered to remove those meals from our bill. Service from staff was brilliant concidering they were busy. In the future i would like to see bigger portions of vegetables given with the roasts and a bigger variety please.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Food great both evening meal and breakfast. Room clean and comfortable Would recommend and if we are in the area again we would stop with you
Excellent Sunday Lunch
I was very disappointed that we ordered 4 meals one without gravy it arrived with gravy and we had to then sit and wait while another meal was prepared for my husband. All the meals where missing sausage so I had to ask for them. When my husbands meal arrived he was missing stuffing as well !! We asked for it but never received it. We where given desert menus and waited 35mins to be asked what we would like after that time we decided just to leave without having dessert or extra drinks which was a shame.
The service was very good. The waitress suggested that we use a different table to that which had been reserved and we were pleased with her suggestion. We enjoyed the food. Perhaps the only diwn side was that there was a big party in the restaurant who werem inevitably, a bit noisy but there was nothing that could be done about that and it won't stop us from going again.
Neither of the meals we had were good. Tasteless and over done. Will not be going back.
Birthday meal for my Mum and family, lovely food the service was a bit slow. 40mins for nibbles to arrive however the main course was fantastic, We weren’t asked if we wanted any sweets or coffee so after a long wait and unable to get the attention of the waitresses we just paid the bill. A little bit more attention to the service and it would have been perfect.
