About The Emperor
A beautiful rural pub set on the edge of the Burnham Beeches.
The pub itself dates back to the late 1700's and has been a part of the local community ever since.
Warm and welcoming with freshly prepared meals and local ales.
Fab place to meet up with friends. Great meal and great service
This was probably my fifth visit. Food and atmosphere all fine but service very slow on this occasion - the barman also seemed to be taking restaurant orders as the waitress disappeared. I was told it was new management so I hope this improves with time.
It was a lunchtime just after opening time so it was very quiet which was to be expected.
No lines and forks etc very slow
We did enjoy our meal, however, it could have been a little hotter and the Chicken Kiev could have had more garlic, as I couldn't taste any! Coffee was excellent as was the wine. Loved the atmosphere and the young lady who served us was lovely, helpful and very accommodating.
Lovely pub. We had a large group (20) and staff were really helpful both in the organisation beforehand and on the night. Thank you.
It was our first time eating at The Emperor,& it won’t be our last. The ladies serving & at the bar were really nice & helpful. The food was lovely.
We ordered 2 burgers and a fish cake and the food took over half an hour to arrive even though there was only 1 other couple in the whole restaurant which meant we didn’t have time for pudding or coffee.
The venue and room we had worked really well for our needs. The staff were really accomodating. Thank you!
Good food and amazing service
One of the best roast dinners we have eaten for a long time. Food lovely and hot and the gravy excellent. We will definitely visit you soon.
The food was amazing and the service was brilliant too
Spent a lovely Thursday evening here. Delicious food and the added bonus of live music
From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with Smiles Great service and food
We as a family were in the area visiting Legoland and we're staying at the Copthorn but didn't want to eat the generic buffet food they serve so booked with you guys as the menu looked great. We were not disappointed, the food was great, the location was lovely and quiet and the beer garden was excellent in the summer sun. Service was great, food came out quickly and was exactly what we ordered. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back. (I received a voicemail from you apologising for poor service, I would suggest you have got us mixed up with someone else as we didn't complain and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.) Thanks Sam
The staff at the emperor accommodated our team for a meeting and maternity leave send off. They were accommodating and attentive, we were all so impressed with the food and the service. I will return again with friends and family, great pub and garden!
Great meal and excellent live music. Couldn't have been better.
Excellent, fast and friendly service, wonderful food
We visited on a Sunday and dined in the garden. The Food was delicious - pizza and fish and chips. Service was great excellent. Shame the children’s area has been removed.
Amazing starters, lovely wine, mains not as good. Cosy pub lots of light and an outside area. Great for a summer's evening!
Amazing food, attentive staff and great value for money. We will definitely be back!
Really lovely evening with really amazing food. Haven't been to the Emperor for many years but will certainly be returning. The service was also excellent.
Excellent food. Had a wonderful time.
