About The Duke of Richmond
Pub and Dining Room
The food was nice but overpriced. Staff were friendly and helpful but we waited quite a while to be seated and then to order.
Great Sunday roast as always!
We had a lovely Sunday lunch for my husband's birthday. We brought our 9 month old and she was made very welcome. It's a very child friendly pub with good high chairs and friendly staff. The food was great as usual. I did think the beef roast was overpriced at £22 but otherwise the prices are fairly standard for good quality food in London.
Fab service, one of the best roasts we have had in London!
Great pork chop. Nice home made duck ham.
Our Sunday roast was excellent - every mouthful was delightful. Each aspect was packed full of flavour, from the superb carrots, to the beautifully cooked, succulent beef, to truffled cauliflower cheese. I'd go back in a heart beat
Really disappointed with my roast beef dinner it was Undercooked And still bloody, myself and another member of a party didn’t eat any of the beef, we were not offered any apology any replacement just advice that that was her they cooked a beef. Also the desert was no better apple crumble it was not , just some apples Tossed With oats no crumble and hardly any cream , got to say that I was massively disappointed as the bill was over hundreds
Roast beef dinner was awful the meat was raw , food was cold and portion of food was small. Desert wasn’t any better ordered apple crumble which was a load of apples tossed in oats no crumble and wasn’t given enough cream . This was a huge disappointment for myself and the family as we have eaten in the Richmond before and food was superb.
Wonderful Sunday lunch with the family, including a couple of kids. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming and the food was really excellent. The roasts were very good but it's great to have other options as well on a Sunday. Will definitely be back.
Best roast I've had in a long time (I had the lamb). Friendly service and cosy atmosphere - just what the doctor ordered on an 8/10 severity hangover.
Brunch was really tasty, the free Bloody Mary’s were a great surprise, and the staff were super friendly
Enjoyed the early dinner with our young daughter. Friendly and accommodating staff. Nice atmosphere, tables nicely spaced out, generally welcoming feeling However kids burger @ 6.50 was this biggest bun and thinnest piece of meat ever, with chips, would be nice to make it a bit more substantial and perhaps add some tomato salad or vegetable. Adult burger very nice and so was my shepperds pie, but we feel price point is all wrong. We’re used to Hackney and Islington prices so it’s a matter of feeling that you get what you pay for and sadly this is not the case here by about 20%. However it’s a good pub in a neighbourhood with limited immediate alternatives so would probably go back on occasion.
Nice enough dinner. Friendly staff. Quite expensive for what seemed like probably frozen chips.
We attended for the Mum & Dads club. Delicious food and a really welcome environment to enjoy some time with each other and our babies.
Amazing burger deal on Mondays, lovely staff, nice venue
Excellent food, great service
Great food, lovely pub with friendly, efficient service.
Food is great and interesting. Service is not great, number of times bell was rang for service and food not collected was a lot. Drinks quite slow. There is slight damp smell all the time which spoils atmosphere a bit. But love the decor / design.
really like the current incarnation of the Duke. nice relaxed vibe, excellent service and food was pretty decent. would go more often if it wasn't for the fact we live a few doors down! big thanks, jonny
Fantastic roast, great wine - Pinot Noir highly recommended, really good service. The only surprise was seeing £1 charge for literally a shot of gravy as we asked for some extra. Overall fantastic, will be back for sure.
Great Sunday lunch - food, drink and service!
I actually wanted to say thank you for accommodating our large group and noisy children on Friday night. It was really pleasant, food was very good and we didn't feel like we were causing a noise disturbance with the kids..... As a bunch of locals, we all said we'd be back so thanks for making our night out really easy.
Very good moment, good products very well cooked. I recommend it!
Went to the Duke for the mums and dads lunch club on a thursday and it was really lovely. Delicious food, nice relaxed atmosphere, great space for the babies to run around and sympathetic staff when my baby pulled loads of glasses off the shelf!
The most delicious roast! Staff were also very accommodating of our special requests. A bit more expensive than other places but definitely worth it - will be returning.
