Enjoyable evening had at The Deacon will definitely recommend to my friends.
Always good quality food & service
Excellent food and service
The lamb rump I had was well presented however not cooked pink as the I was told the chef cooked the dish/meat. Hence I have to mark down the food & value. Kind Regards
Lovely atmosphere, fabulous food and drink. Our server looked was friendly, attentive and looked after us wonderfully
Lovely food and really good service.
Nice bar and restaurant with reasonably priced food which was very good. Service was a bit hit and miss but it was very busy at the time.
Lovely food and atmosphere. Service was good, just took a little while for us to place our food orders. Once that was taken everything moved swiftly! Will return again.
Good setting - staff very helpful - food very good
A great night, great food and great hospitality. Never easy with a group of people , you will see us again ! Thanks CMB .
First time I've tried the steak and was slightly disappointed. Had the sirloin and it was very thin for a 10oz steak. Nicely cooked, but it did arrive on a bed of carrot purée which is not mentioned in the menu. Dishes that arrive not as described in the menu are a bit of a bugbear of mine.
We arrived on a busy Easter weekend. The staff were very attentive. The food was amazing. We had, between us, roast chicken, sausage and mash and the lamb burger. Every ounce of food disappeared. The drinks were delicious. Great location and atmosphere. A special thanks to our waitress Ella who had the perfect manner and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience even more special. Thank you to everyone at The Deacon!
Excellent service and food
We received a voucher for Xmas for the Deacon - booked a table online successfully. Greeted by a friendly member of staff . No table reserved or asked where we would like to sit . However, where we sat was fine for us. Girl waitress was friendly and approachable. Food was lovely and portions were plentiful. Husband had peroni but was looking forward to your Deacon beer but it was not available on the day. All in all - lovely place, buzzing atmosphere, friendly staff and enjoyed our meal .
Special menu Great food , tasty and cooked beautifully
Just love it always good
Food great, service a little slow, again needed to find someone to pay, crowd noisy wouldn’t go there for a quiet meal for sure but will go again.
Enjoyable evening. Nice atmosphere with good service and food. Ran out of skinny chips!! Chunky chips were anaemic looking - we asked for them to be re cooked to a browner colour - returned the same colour!! Overall we all really enjoyed our night out.
On line menu not same as actual menu.I had planned to have lamb, but not on the actual menu.
A lovely weeknight meal - thank you Ava x
