I think we must have been the family from Hell, 15 family members including children, the numbers of which changed leading up to our booking, then we added some dogs into the mix yet the staff just took all the alterations and demands in their stride, so professional. Excellent customer service and fantastic food. Incredibly accommodating, highly recommend!!
Excellent food from an imaginative menu complemented by efficient and courteous service.
Staff we’re very friendly. They took on board the dietary requirements indicated when booking and advised my options on arrival. Very friendly
Prices are good it’s just disappointing when service charge is already added as I cannot then leave a tip reflecting my personal gratitude.
The overall experience was fantastic and what was so refreshing, because customer service unfortunately is dying out, was the way in which the staff interacted with us. They couldn’t do enough and that totally makes an evening for me. Definitely recommending and definitely will be returning to this little gem.
Very friendly service and cosy atmosphere! Lovely food!
A very nice place to meet and eat
Lovely menu good service from a friendly team who were there for any questions regarding the menu
Food delicious, waiting staff pleasant but far too long between ordering and food arrival!
I suffer from an allergy and it was really refreshing to be somewhere that knew what the allergen was and totally reassured me that they would adapt the method of preparation to ensure no cross contamination even though they do have this allergen in the kitchen. That’s what gives the service rating of 5 stars!
Excellent Lunch , great service and well priced
Lovely service (by the owner I think), small but nice atmosphere and lovely food and drink for mid-range pricing. Will definitely come back
Well looked after by the staff. Superb food. Look forward to my next visit.
Fantastic Sunday roasts after some very tasty starters! No room for desserts, so looking forward to another visit!!
We asked for a jug of water when we sat down it didn’t arrive until the puddings. My main meal could have been warmer otherwise very nice. Food on the whole very good. Service a bit hit and miss at times. Was busy but they’re were a lot of staff for the amount of people. We ordered half a lager shandy but got a pint they offered to change it bur it had been poured.
Drinks order was wrong but was quickly rectified. Was very busy so staff did well considering. Not all of the tables were served together.
Bit understaffed for a Friday. Been sat down at least 5 mins before even offered a drink or menu and we had to look helpless to get it!! Friendly though and good if unadventurous food
A very nice lunch yesterday Quite pricey but all the same nice food and atmosphere and a real pleasure to be served by grown ups Not kids Lovely would I recommend? definetly
Always an excellent experience.
Disappointing to have service added to bill for a table of 4. We paid it as service was ok but would prefer to decide ourselves what to leave. It would put me off returning unfortunately.
Came with my daughter and Mum for lunch after visiting the Roald Dahl Museum and was thankful that we booked as it was very busy (half term!). We did have to wait a little while for the food, but it was absolutely delicious. Can recommend the butternut squash and chickpea masala - really light and tasty. Daughter enjoyed the children's fish and chips and gooey chocolate brownie too! Would recommend without hesitation and would like to visit again if in the local area.
Fabulous meal great place to eat.
