About The Crossing
Contemporary pub dining and cask ale house.
We're regulars at The Exeter in Derby but haven't been to The Crossing in years. Went for a family Sunday dinner and we all absolutely loved in. So good, we've booked again for next Sunday ! Real ale and food both excellent quality. Thanks Martin and all the staff.
Had a lovely meal. Service was excellent. Lovely restaurant. Already recommended to friends. Can’t wait to come again.
Second time I’ve been here and it was lovely, great value for money and fab staff, also felt really safe considering the current circumstances with Covid. Will definitely be coming back!
Lovely food and atmosphere. Our roast seemed to take longer than everyone else’s for some reason. Approx 40 mins into our wait we were told it would be another 15 mins with no explanation as to why. Two severs came up to us asking if we wanted more drinks during this time.
Excellent meal. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service. Half price Sunday dinners a real bonus! See you next Sunday!! Thanks to all concerned.
Good food Felt safe. Lovely service
Covid secure restaurant where the staff really go the extra mile. Fantastic food and service, would highly recommend!
Excellent service, wonderful food and good value.
Lovely Sunday lunch, definitely will go again
Excellent service all round
Had a lovely meal here on Sunday with my son. I had the arf n arf Sunday lunch and my son had the childrens fish and chips. We were both very pleased with our meals. The roast potatoes were to die for! I was pleased with the service and very lovely, friendly and helpful staff. I have recommended you to a friend who is looking at booking over the next couple of weeks. Thank you, I Will visiting again soon
Absolutely love it here. Food amazing. Always find service great too. Plus cart Covid secure. Can’t recommend enough
Great meal in lovely atmosphere. Staff very pleasant and attentive
Charming, friendly and efficient staff. Great food, very clean highly recommended and we will be back soon. Thank you
Great food and friendly service
Me and my boyfriend had never been here before, the waitress we had was soooooo lovely! Very attentive, the food was absolutely beautiful, amazing value for money! The drinks were really nice too! Some were a little bit too strong so we couldn’t drink which was disappointing but other than that everything was perfect! Will be back soon thanks so much! Xx
Waitress was amazing. Menu was a bit of a let down.
Another lovely meal at the Crossing. Love the decor and the atmosphere and the staff are always so friendly We love coming to The Crossing :)
Had a lovely Sunday lunch . Staff attentive and food good.
Lovely evening and fantastic service! Mark was a fabulous waiter, he made the experience very pleasant and we will definitely be coming back!
Brilliant food and drinks and lovely, helpful staff! Would definitely recommend to others and will be returning too!
Best pub in Burton
Staff members were welcoming and very professional adehered well to ‘covid19’ social distancing rules. Wonderful place atmosphere. Menu could include more cocktail choice and perhaps some traditional options.
Had a really good evening with my friend. The food was great and the staff friendly. The first round of drinks did take quite a while to arrive but was much quicker as the evening went on. Nice atmosphere. Will go again.
A good place for drinks! The food was awful! Such small portions for a £12 Sunday dinner. The veg portions were inadequate, the kitchen were not accommodating to dietary needs, by the time the sauces arrived we’d nearly finished our food, the waitress was very very nice and helpful but the waiter was slack and miserable! I would not come back here for food in the near future and also the worst cauliflower cheese & mash potato I’ve ever had. Would come back here for drinks but NOT food.
