Been a few times great food and great service each time thanks
Not enough choice on the Sunday menu
Booking was set for 8 and it was ready on time, we were shown to our table and our drinks order was taken. When our wine was brought over our food order was taken we were told there was a wait for food as there was a table of 12 - however the food was in front of us in 25mins (respectful time anyway), and OMG it tasted amazing I don’t mind paying the money for food if I leave satisfied- it was beautiful the steak was cooked exactly how I asked!! The whole experience from start to finish was flawless the staff were so lovely and made our night perfect :) Definitely going back!!
A few issues with the meal . Halloumi was undercooked - batter was raw. Also the one person's meal arrive 15 minutes after everyone else's and although a reduction was offered by this time everyone else's food was cold. Not overly impressed and unlikely to return.
Lovely meal, great atmosphere and really polite and helpful staff. Always impressed with the food here that's why it's my favourite place to eat. Cocktails are fab too!
When we arrived the bar staff were very busy and we stood for a good 10 minutes at the bar without being acknowledged, which was a little disappointing.
The best starter I have ever eaten! (The kebab house) The staff were fantastic at making myself and my partner feel relaxed on our first night out since having our new born. Also we really enjoyed the staffs advise on which cocktails to try, the French is a winner In my option! Thanks again for an amazing night!
Enjoyable Mother day lunch
Lovely mother’s day meal , food and service were excellent , everyone really enjoyed the delicious food and chilled out atmosphere ,
Thanks for great Sunday lunch!
Delicious burgers and nice atmosphere.
Without doubt our favourite place to eat. We love the Sunday Bird and Beast, we love the drinks, love the music and the chilled atmosphere. Can't wait to come back again soon
Pre-ordering the food is an excellent idea and speeded up waiting times.
Lovely meal, great and attentive service. Really enjoyed the bird and beast platter ! Excellent value for money.
Good food and atmosphere
The guys got me a bottle of champagne that is not on the menu, really helpful, thank you.
Service and food were excellent. I thought the puddings were comparatively expensive but the whole experience was great.
Great as always!
Would like a broader menu
As good as always....Thanks
Food didn't seem to be as good as previous visits.
Best Sunday Lunch I've had in ages. Really enjoyed it. Will be back with friends in future.
One of our party ordered a gin and tonic.....it was a long winded affair and, after being told all the makes of gin and tonic you had, when she eventually decided your barman then proceeded to sell her one that he "recommended". The next member of our party requested a sweet martini and lemonade, to which your barman replied "we don't sell martini"! Pardon me......you sell cocktails but you don't sell martini? "Oh sorry, yes we do" was his reply! There was 5 of us in our party and we were duly shown to our table. After being seated for only a couple of minutes two of our party had to spread their napkin onto the table to stop their hands sticking to the table. A sticky table in a restaurant.....no.....this is totally unacceptable. Three of our party ordered rib eye steaks, 2 ordered sea bass. The waitress then returned to our table and informed us that the chef was displeased with the rib eye, it wasn't up to standard, and he wouldn't serve it. Why hadn't he noticed this earlier? We therefore changed our order to sirloin. The food arrived, the sea bass was excellent. The steaks were cooked as requested but were covered in fine pepper that we scraped off. The grilled tomatoes on one meal were cremated and the skin on one of the tomatoes on another meal was bright green. We were provided with steak knives, but instead of these being tucked on the side of the plate when the meals were delivered to us, your waitress held them in her hand by the metal cutting edge, not the handle, and then proceeded to place them on the sticky table. Suffice to say those of us who still had their serviette wiped the knife before use. We could not face pudding but three of our party had coffees, and two decided to have cocktails. One person requested an espresso martini whilst another asked if they could have an Brandy Alexander. The reply was instant "sorry we don't do that". This was disappointing. This was not the kind of evening we had anticipated after hearing such good reports from other people about your establishment. I welcome your comments
We really enjoyed our evening.
