About The Creameries
The creameries is a bakery and kitchen with a focus on simple, delicious food served in a beautiful and welcoming space.
Fantastic food quality very creative and grtideas with the flavours and mixing of textures - there is only one thing I would like to see changed - the portion sizes, I still felt hungry afterwards. Still great experience lovely staff.
Having visited the Aumbrey on several occasions and seen your website, we were looking forward to a good, informal restaurant meal and weren't expecting more of a cafe tapas experience. Whereas this is fine in itself, Chorlton/Manchester is awash with tapas/sharing platter places, so were were a bit disappointed. Our waiter was very good and cheerful and the food was quite good but not exceptional. Funnily enough, we enjoyed the cheaper plates more than the more expensive ones.
Excellent food and service. Beautiful space
Excellent, efficient and cheerful service, combined with delicious food. Already thinking about the next visit!
Fantastic food and service. Very accommodating of our requirements for having a baby and pram with us.
Everything was lovely but I really must commend the lovely front of house staff. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly. Just awesome.
Very welcome addition to Chorlton's restaurant scene. Interesting dishes, beautifully cooked and presented. Friendly and knowledgeable waiters. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
Great food, best place to eat in chorlton
Delicious food, excellent wine, warm and hospitable service, lovely atmosphere and a beautiful environment. Thoroughly recommend!
Went to the first summer holidays pizza and games Tuesday. Great pizzas and games etc to keep the kids occupied inside and out. Really good idea and will bring the unruly hordes again. Size of house wine (125ml) a bit mean for an offer of £10 for adult pizza and wine. Service as welcoming and friendly as usual, but drinks service on the definitely slow side this time. Overall a positive, pleasant experience-just some constructive criticism!
Bread sooooo disappointing
Thank you. Lovely lunch. Fab fresh food, friendly service & great wine.
Quite expensive for such small portions.
We loved everything we ate. The food was a bit different and was both exciting and extra tasty. Can’t wait to go back. The staff made it even better by ringing great service and a relaxed friendly vibe. Only regret was eating too much to be able to try rabbit parfait.
Food is lovely and service great. Lovely building. The portions are just a little small for main courses Eg no bread with tomato salad.
Absolutely brilliant evening. Wonderful food, lovely service and great wine recommendations. Still not quite used to blackboard menus, I’m afraid!
Absolutely delicious for a special occasion thank you... amounts on the small side my only complaint. Was well looked after and it’s a great new addition to Chorltons eateries. Hope it will raise the game of other places!
I wanted to hate this place but I couldn’t. The atmosphere and service were impeccable. The food was good but as I’m sure you’ve heard before, the portions are very small. It’s a great space and an interesting eating experience so I would recommend it for the novelty. The staff are really lovely, passionate and very attentive.
We were a bit dubious about our visit after reading several negative reviews on trip advisor. We need not have worried. We received a very warm welcome, the menu was explained to us and recommendations were made. The food was excellent, especially the polenta fritters - I could have eaten them all day. The service was excellent. Attentive but not over the top. The man who served us has only been working there a few days but he is an asset to the place. Well done to everyone - we’ll definitely be coming back
Food was amazing, and the service was incredible - waiting staff were polite, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about everything on offer. A proper treat and we'll definitely be back!
Thank you for a lovely evening. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be back. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed how informative and friendly the waiter was. We didn’t catch his name but it his just summer in sunny Manchester. Thanks Lauren and Harry
Was recommended this place and so glad we came! It was decadent AND delicious
The food was beautiful - innovative without being intimidating. We had a few small snacks to start - pickles, homemade pickled onion crisps! and an oyster each - then plaice poached in butter (!) with pickled gooseberries and clams with a couple of sides for our main. That just about left room for two of the most delicious puddings I’ve had in a very long time - gooseberry fool with whey granita and strawberries with pink peppercorn meringue and elderflower ice cream. Slurp! Dessert wine, prosecco, wine and beer by the glass. All came to under £50/ head inc booze which is great value for food and drink of this standard. Lovely lovely lovely. Will be back again soon.
