About The Creameries
The creameries is a bakery and kitchen with a focus on simple, delicious food served in a beautiful and welcoming space.
Wonderful food and drink service was equally outstanding
Food and wine was excellent. Some of the portions quite small for the price.
Absolutely fantastic meal and great service :-)
I could never deny the food wasn't great, it was really lovely but the small plate thing is really not my thing, I really don't like leaving a restaurant hungry. Perhaps this would be ok if Creameries made their menus + prices viewable before arriving and were clear on the sort of 'plates' they produced.
Loved the food- well matched flavours, staff are warm- great wine. Thank you.
Fantastic experience at The Creameries - would definitely recommend, brilliant menu and lovely, friendly staff. We will be back again!
Delicious food and wine - loved the braised baby gem lettuce with cauliflower beignets. Great evening - we’ll be back!
This was a superb meal, made with fresh igredients imaginatively cooked and served by staff who knew a lot about each dish. Ended with some really interesting cheeses.
Enjoyed our visit to The Creameries. The restaurant was lovely and the staff were excellent - friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The menu is small and changes regularly and, unfortunately, on this occasion there wasn’t too much that was to my taste. However, the dishes I had were excellent and I would certainly return, even if the menu is a bit pot luck for a fussy eater like me!
Stunning food, great service but main courses could be bigger
Food nice, but tiny portions don’t justify the prices - food style and prices don’t gel with the relaxed casual dining vibe / location / decor / shared tables etc. £18.00 for 3 wafer thin slices of cold meat and an eighth of a baby gem lettuce - get real... bbq’d baby goat suggested a succulent wodge of hot meat, so disappointing.
Delicious food and excellent facilities for children. It did, however, appear misleading to refer to ‘mains’ on the menu, when it was more of a tapas / sharing experience. To require 3-4 ‘mains’ per couple feels like they are incorrectly titled. Calling them ‘sharing plates’ would prepare diners for the experience that’s to come.
Just lovely. Food delicious. Ian looked after us very well too. We will be back
Excellent service, great food and pleasant surroundings.
I wish I could have ordered everything off the menu. Each dish and mouthful was properly fantastic. We'll be back!
Food clever and on the most part, tasty and interesting. As a meat eater out with a vegetarian I ate veggie and thoroughly enjoyed the experience- (the vegan ice cream was a revelation) - with the fried fava beans also a surprising delight. Staff amazingly helpful with a great knowledge of their menu. My only criticism would be the small metal chairs, which, after a while, caused a numbness which made the dining experience a little less than comfortable. All in all I would recommend the Creameries, as a different and alternative dining experience.
Great food and service. Get better napkins please!
Food is very tasty but there’s not much of it. Some friends were very disappointed by cost/amount ratio ie goat shoulder £16 or £18? for three extremely thin slices of meat with braised lettuce and tapenade. Fresh peas £3/£4 Chips £4 - £1 per chip! = c£24 for main meal that isn’t filling. PS What are T&C below?
Waiter was charming and funny but most importantly knowledgeable on everything to do with the menu.. food and drinks. Food was tasty and beautifully presented and the pink champagne that Chris recommended was gorgeous. We were a little hungry still when leaving but the tastiness and whole experience outweighed that....we possibly should have had dessert anyway. Its stylishly done out inside and I'll definitely be back for more. Thanks for a lovely evening.
Laughably small portions of not very interesting food!
Fantastic service, interesting menu, great wine, laid back vibes, loved every minute of it. Can't wait to return.
Wine selection very good but you need a proper wine list with about more detail about the individual wines. Also a printed menu would be better than just a chalkboard and a waiters description. Not all that important really as it's the food that matters and that was excellent.
Wonderful food , great staff - thankyou we will be back !
Great experience and really friendly staff, lots of choice on the menu and fresh, high quality food. Looking forward to visiting again.
