About The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield - Thai Restaurant
The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield opened in 2008 to spectacular international reviews including Conde Nast's Hot List for best new hotels in the world.
The oldest documented building in Beaconsfield, a fifteenth century coaching inn, has been meticulously restored and elaborately designed to provide dramatic architecture and uncompromised luxury.
The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield is a unique oasis in quintessential England and the antithesis to bland hotels.
All of our meats are butchered at The Crazy Bear Farm Shop including Gloucestershire Old Spot Pork and Welsh Badger Face Lamb reared at The Crazy Bear Farm.
Fabulous place.. Great food and drinks Thanks to all the staff for making my birthday a great one!!
Great meal in great surroundings with attentive staff.
We had a lovely meal wonderful service fabulous waitress, really lovely experience
The older lady Thai waitress was super rude. The food was not up to standard .. my partner had the jungle curry which was so bland it was like a ready meal! We mentioned this to the older Thai lady and her response was .. well you ate it! There was no apology or offer of a refund! Disgusting customer service! I wonder if you could change my opinion? I probably won’t even get a response from This feedback
Lovely evening, great atmosphere
a very enjoyable afternoon
Visited having received as a Groupon gift for the classic 12 course tasting menu. The food was tasty but one dish was tai crackers ! I asked if I could swap jasmine rice for Singapore noodles and was advised I couldn’t . The classic is not worth £62pp you could get a far more interesting banquet for that. It’s quirky and different but poor value for money .
Incredible food and wonderful atmosphere.
My first time staying at the crazy bear and I’ve got to say I loved it. We stayed in the suite in room 6 and literally had the best time. Would definitely come back, it made our anniversary extra special. We both loved the Thai restaurant too and was served by such a polite and friendly lady. Thanks for such a great experience
Amazing experience at Crazy Bear Beaconsfield at the Thai restaurant. Great service and atmosphere. We had the vegetarian menu and we honestly not very impressed with the dishes for the amount of money we paid. Some dishes are very basic like edamame and rice and noodles? I honestly don’t think these are dishes for such a high end restaurant. Other than that we loved it. We might visit again but perhaps we will try the English restaurant next time.
Very overpriced, lack of attention to detail. Lovely waitress however poor service apart from her.
Super venue and 5* all the way.
Amazing food and service, had a lovely evening!
Amazing place. Amazing Service. Did my birthday with my besties here. Loved every min of it. It is so dazzling and beautiful. Its the 3rd time I have come here and think i will come again for sure...
We had a 12 course meal at the Crazy Bear Thai. This was a gift and it was lovely, from the food to the service it was Excellent.
Very good value with groupon voucher
Sadly I won't be returning. Service was shocking to be reminded more than 3x times that we need to return the table within 2hrs via pushy waitresses waiting on taking orders to handing the bill before even having completed main course!? Shocking and very disappointingly we ordered a berry mocktail which was repeated twice yet served an alcoholic drink which I sipped not to my knowledge. I've never had alcohol with it being forbidden in my religion and only due to my distaste after advising the waitress it did not taste like a berry mocktail she confirmed that it was a cocktail! I was in disbelief! I will not be returning here period.
We booked for my boyfriends birthday and we had a lovely time. The food arrived in time and super tasty. The service was impeccable. Thank you for a wonderful time
The Thai food here is just the best anywhere. The Thai service is fabulous. The main bar is beyond the pale. Dress up and have a ball.
Service a little too rushed but overall very nice
Booked for my husband's 40th birthday weeks ago. Left message on booking spoke to ppl on the phone numerous times to make sure they make it special for him on the day, they said they have left notes on system. One lady was particularly rude on the phone. When we arrived was seated at the top of the stairs despite having told them I have 2 kids under 3. No high chairs provided, 'they would get in the way' Changed tables at request. We were struggling to keep the kids seated in once place with no high chairs. So took 15-20 mins before we could order. As soon as our starters ariive, the waitress is already telling me she needs the table back by 7pm. Kids did not eat anything. Me and Husband enjoyed the food. I was expecting them to bring out a cake/dessert with candle for husband but instead she put the bill on the table. So despite speaking to someone three times on phone and notes on their 'system' nothing I had requested in advance was delivered. Disappointed as my family and friends highly rate this place. I don't think I would go back again. The service really let the place down, I wish I had gone somewhere else for a special birthday meal. Also not family friendly.
Food was great and the staff were excellent. Always attentive and at hand for anything we needed. Would definitely recommend and revisit.
