About The Country Park
Our Riverside bar has amazing views of the Humber, with a relaxed atmosphere. Our menu offers a wide variety of dishes for everyone, prepared using local produce .
More choice of vegetables , esp greens please
Great atmosphere, lovely food, perfect place for a cozy meal for 2 or a group booking. Only slight let down for me was the staff, where some are quite young they more interested in being in groups together talking, found had to wait on a number of occasions due to them talking and I felt ignored. But that being said great place, will definitely be revisiting again
This was our 5th black tie ball at CP & was disappointing in how the prices have gone up. Despite pre-arranging drink prices guests were not all charged the same price which was embarrassing. Impressed with the chef & his interest in our thoughts regarding the food - main course very impressive. Over the past five years we have always immediately booked the next day for the following year but as yet we are undecided due to price increases & it been a charity event.
Been several times before, lovely relaxed atmosphere food and service usually very good. A little concerned that there were 5 staff dealing with coffee whilst there were 5 People trying to order food and no one else serving. Otherwise very good.
Lovely visit...as ever !
Best carvery ever tasted chef was brilliant and so friendly will definitely be back.
They had put us on table 32 which didn't exist, they quickly got us another table, we went for the carvery and they had ran out, the waitress never did a check back on us for either of our meals.Too many children running up and down whilst people are walking with there drinks and been served hot food, also small children sat on the bar whilst there parents are waiting too be served (not very hygeinic) also should have an area for adults only.
Business Lunch - quality of food good!
The booking system works very very well.... However it took 45 mins for our meal to arrive, 2 of which require no cooking!! The quality was good to excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly....
Staff very friendly but unfortunately the food let then down badly. Our jacket potatoes were lukewarm.
We had booked a table for carvery. I expected to be greeted by a member of staff to show us to our table...but instead I ended up stood around and chasing after staff who had no clue about the booking. I was then told the carvery had stopped. I don't like the fact that you have to go to the bar every time you want food or drinks. I think in a place like The Country Park Inn it should be table service considering you are paying more than other places that do offer table service. The food was average (apart from the pear and chocolate pudding). The staff we're ignorant and looked like they didn't want to be there, and our finished plates where left for about 20 minutes on our table before been cleared even though staff walked past our table a number of times. Think if I was to return it would be for a drink only, outside to enjoy the scenery as it's the only good thing about this place.
A pleasurable dining experience in clean and comfortable surroundings. The staff were very polite and helpful. Good choice of food on offer too.
We booked a table on line stating we had a disabled person in a wheel chair. No thought put into this fact. The table wasn't ready & hadn't been cleared up properly from previous guests. We ordered Nachos & thy had barely any cheese on them. Need more options for kids menu, 4 items & everything with chips!! Both kids pizza that were ordered were over cooked. Adult lasagne ordered, again this was over cooked & hugely over priced for the portion size. Prices are also different from prices on line & charges had increased since parents last visited ask ago. Overall very disappointed with our visit
Lovely food in a friendly informal atmosphere.
We were disappointed to find that the waiter had no reference to our booking. We'd booked a few days before and also received a reminder about our booking the day before. So I would suggest that you check online bookings regularly. Apart from that the food and atmosphere was good
A lovely place by the river. Friendly staff good food at reasonable prices. A pleasant experience.
I had the chicken Caesar salad but thought the chicken a little dry and not enough salad. But the rest of my party enjoyed their food. The waitresses were lovely, helpful and efficient. I have been before and will definitely go again.
Lovely location, lovely meals but very short staffed on Tuesday so queued for a very long time at the bar to order drinks and settle up our bill
I booked online and when we arrived my booking wasn't on their list and we had to wait over ten minutes while several members of staff went off trying to find us a table.
