Meal was lovely, just could have done with more Vegetables & potatoes, we asked for more & that wasn’t a problem at all. We will definitely come again.
Lovely sunday lunch with plenty of choice
Food was delicious.I am Such a fussy eater and I enjoyed all my 3 courses. Clean and lovely atmosphere. Staff friendly. Thankyou
The conservatory was very welcoming with lovely bright furnishings.
Beautiful afternoon tea at the Melbreak Hotel. Food we beautifully presented and all freshly made. The quiche, sausage rolls and scones were all warm which made them even more mouth watering. Staff all friendly and helpful. The conservatory was a lovely place to sit and enjoy our afternoon tea and was very clean. Will definitely be recommending to other and visiting again!
A group of 3 friends enjoyed a beautiful meal - great quality food and excellent service. Thank you.
Fantastic service thank you for a lovely afternoon tea for my husband's birthday
Food was ok, but not worth the money paid. The waitresses who served us were great. Nothing was too much trouble. I thought £6.95 is a bit too out there price wise for dessert for a big standard crumble or the usual sticky toffee pud etc.
Afternoon tea was quite nice but overpriced compared with other places
4 of us dined Sunday gone, 3 had port and very satisfied. I had beef and not satisfied at all. The beef was stringy cut thick and very tough. The worst beef I have ever had anywhere. I told the girl twice and said she would tell the chef. No feedback. Second time she said do I need a steak Knife? I have never had a meal so disappointing any time we have visited the Melbreak prior to this Sunday Lunch. We were the first to be served!
good food for Sunday lunch, Place mats and a fork with desert would have improved things for us. Will return.
Food FANTASTIC! I just had to thank the female chef (sorry, don't know her name) for the delicious Seabass on Fri 5th July. All the staff so pleasant & helpful (especially a lady who is on @ breakfast, who was SO helpful & informative). Unfortunately, there are no other bars/restaurants within walking distance BUT The Melbreak offers excellent food & drinks even cheaper than abroad!! Good sized TV in bedroom, but thankyou for setting up the projector to watch the World cup quarter final ~ & we WON!!!
