About The Conservatory
We are delighted to introduce a stunning new addition to the Resort, the River Room Conservatory. A magnificent bespoke glass creation that perfectly frames the stunning setting of the cascading River Maine and lush parkland. A most splendid backdrop in which you can enjoy the decadence of a traditional Afternoon Tea.
Afternoon Tea is served daily 12.00-17.30
Love the food, staff and service on the afternoon always go above and beyond
A think it would’ve better if there was an option for more savoury and less sweet dishes. All of the food was fabulous it was just too much sweet stuff. A bit more balance. Btw the windows need cleaning - it spoilt the wonderful view.
I’m a big fan of the Galgorm but this visit was not good. The atmosphere was severely lacking, the service wasn’t great. I had a vegan afternoon tea and it was not nice at all, everything was hard and in no way similar to the other guests food. I was sorely disappointed
Staff friendly, service great. We will be back hopefully 2019
The food was unbelievable and the only thing better was the service. Every member of staff was friendly and greeted you with a smile.
A perfect afternoon tea to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Scrumptious food and lovely staff who accommodated everyone from my 6yr old Daughter to my 95yr old Nana. We look forward to our return. Thank you
Staff amazingvthats what brings us back Gabriella and Roxy amazing girls all the othetrs to
We had a great time at the willy wonker afternoon tea, we got engaged the night before at the galgorm and they brought us s slate plate and cupcakes out wishing us a great engagement
The willy wonka afternoon tea wasn't really much different from an ordinary afternoon tea could have been made a bit more unique and different like the way One Aldwych in London does theirs.
Lovely food & great service
We had an enjoyable experience for a special occasion.
Absolutely wonderful!!! Already planning our next venture back again. Loved the Willy Wonky theme, it was delightful trying the various surprises
I had booked afternoon tea and thermal suite package for myself, my two sisters and my mum for her birthday. I am also 8 months pregnant so was looking forward to a relaxing experience. Unfortunately I had to contact the hotel at least 4 times to clarify our booking as the time I was allocated for the afternoon tea was not what had been booked. My stress was added to when I was told that the slot I had booked was no longer available! This was to be a special day for our family and for me and as a result of the confusion I was very apprehensive in the lead up to the day.
Fabulous place and fantastic food
It was overall a good experience
We had a fantastic afternoon tea and the service from the manager and waitresses was brilliant. The only thing that let it down was we had to ask a second time for a soft drink all three times that we ordered it but I think this was miscommunication between the bar area and the servers and everyone was apologetic every time.
Would prefer more savory options, quite slow to get us between courses. felt it rude to suggest £50 service charge
We had a magical time for little boy birthday and won a golden ticket he was so happy. Was brilliant thank you to all hard working staff xxx
We really enjoyed our Willy Wonka inspired afternoon tea in the Conservatory, looking out on the river flowing by. It was the perfect setting, we didn't feel rushed at our table and enjoyed sampling the variety of teas and cakes on offer! Thank you again!
The afternoon tea was a disappointment, was a birthday treat for my sister and it was far too sweet , we had to ask to box up 3/4 of the cakes to take home as we just couldn’t eat them and unfortunately are still in the fridge 2 days later as we just can’t eat them. A waste of money and feel disappointed - the staff and atmosphere is lovely shame the afternoon tea left a bad impression
I always love your afternoon teas, especially the gin ones.
I have to say I was disappointed at the afternoon tea at Galgorm booked for a special 90th birthday occasion I thought the staff were appalling and really let the venue down... I expected more.... Booking made for 130pm for 5 people Arrived at 130 at the restaurant entrance - told table not ready to have a seat... Clear table allocated was only set for 4!! Left waiting with little sense of urgency or customer service... clear no rush Afternoon tea - food was lovely but service during poor Asked for tea and coffee several times - had to chase . Not overly attentive staff Cakes and scones brought to table re ordered fresh tea and coffee - never appeared Had to chase and was met with a look of disgust Asked for bill... never came.. had to chase..... Watched a table beside us... No napkins... girl requested . Waited ages... waiter returned with them - en route stood talking with them in his hand Instead of priotising delivering them to table Girl was so mad she walked to him in disgust and took them off him... Shame as I felt the staff let down a lovely hotel.. lovely food and nice surroundings Also email saying about music - live piano... Nothing Yet out in reception the most welcoming door staff.. And front of house staff - so lovely.....
Great service from staff - very accommodating to all needs. Beautiful food
We were extremely disappointed with the gluten free afternoon tea. The sandwiches were poor quality and the scones were disgusting.....flat and hard (in fact we all initially thought they were shortbread!). The ordinary afternoon tea was ok but not to the standard we received before at the Galgorm and definately not to the standard of other establishments. All in all I was sorry that we chose to arrive early and have afternoon tea in regards to food. However the service was fantastic. Jayne Jones
