My friend and I were seated beside a speaker and at one point the music was too loud most people want to chat over lunch not shout over music. I had steak pie and I'm afraid I didn't enjoy the meat but the rest of the lunch was lovely
Great service and great food
Great food....Fantastic service and staff happily accommodated dietary requests without any advance notice.
Excellent food and great waiting staff (as always) ♥️
I didn't get the girls name but the waitress who served us was brilliant, really attentive, helpful and friendly .
Very helpful staff.
Another fantastic night there was nine of us and everyone said how good it was. Food and service was amazing. Thanks for making our wee night special
Although the hotel was full and bursting at the seams with people. Our dinning experience was excellent!! quality and service of food and drink was amazing and staff were second to none. I would recommend
Staff are lovely, very responsive and the food is great.
Atmosphere spoiled by the number of young children in the restaurant otherwise faultless
Went to the Coachman for our breakfast during the Xmas/New Yr holidays and left very satisfied, the food was amazing and the young waiter couldn’t have been more helpful and took the time to engage with our young son when he was showing him his soft toy he got off Santa lol defo recommend.
Very nice dinner, excellent food.
We had a lovely meal at the coachman. Portions are very generous! The decor is lovely especially the flower wall in the foyer Thank you for a great night
Brilliant afternoon tea and as usual terrific , attentive service.
From the minute we arrived until we left the food and service was fantastic
Staff very friendly food delicious 😋
Very good service and meal again especially on a very busy Hogmanay. The only problem I have is choosing from the main meal choices on the menu as all of my favourite meals have been removed from the last 2 menu changes however fajitas never fail.
I wasnt impressed with the waiting staff as they would pass the food across the table rather than go From side to side
Lovely meal and very affordable
Have to say the waiters and waitresses working last night were fabulous! Every one of them so polite and attentive and looked after us so well. Really lovely staff 👌🏻
This review is for Christmas day. We booked the restaurant for eleven people in the restaurant. Our tables weren't ready and so waited at the bar for about 10 to 15 mins. No big deal really as it was very busy. What was a big deal however was when we were shown to our tables. We were sat in the corner ( ok with that ) at five cafe / bistro tables ( not ok with that ). We expected to be sat together at one table or at least 2 tables. When we questioned this we were told in a couldn't care less attitude that that is where parties over eight people went as that was the area used for that and we would have been told that at the time of booking. I booked this and was told NOTHING of the sort. Quick to take your money though. The area was not the issue. The issue was the tables. They can't tell me they couldn't put two tables that sat six people a table in that area. Anyway, we sat at our cafe tables and that was the last we seen of the girl who showed us to our tables, not very professional and a smile wouldn't have hurt. When the food came however that was a different story. The food was fantastic. The starters were lovely, those of us that had the steak medallions absolutely loved them. I have never tasted steak like it in my life. It was beautiful. There was plenty on the plates and everyone was stuffed. Table service was good from the waiters/waitresses and have no issues regarding that. I have given the service 3 stars only for the table situation and the attitude and glum face of front of house. Food was excellent and first class
Had a wonderful meal whole table enjoyed everything servers were wonderful and helpful.
Absolutely fabulous Christmas dinner. Food was plentiful, hot and delicious. Service was first class Atmosphere very warm and comfortable. Would recommend in a heartbeat
Meal was excellent and device was first class would definitely recommend
Our hostess Amy Lochrie was an absolute treasure. She made everything just right for us. So calm and friendly in such a busy place on Christmas Day. We didn’t know that the kids could choose from Pizza, Chicken Sticks etc which she informed us. Obviously pizza was choose over turkey. I do personally think kids portions are too big (for a 5 year old). We did get to box it and take it away which was great. So can’t complain. We also got to box up a family members meal who sadly couldn’t make it which was good too. Please pass on our thanks again to Amy. Merry Christmas to all of the staff and best wishes for 2020.
