Exceptional service and great atmosphere. We were served by Andrey who was inviting, friendly and fun!
Everything good just feel drinks a little pricy
Excellent service and lovely atmosphere!! It was my Mum’s birthday and the waiter surprised her with a sweet treat for the 4 of us to share. Was such a nice touch! Food was delicious and the atmosphere nice and relaxing! Thank you!
Lovely view of the park from where we were seated. Julia who served us was very helpful and pleasant. Great food - and booking a table was done efficiently. Recommended!
Couldn't fault anything. Will happily return.
Great food fantastic staff with a beautiful view
Overall we were very happy with the food and service at the Cliveden. The only downside was the length of time it took for food to arrive on our table. We'd originally booked for 6pm but during the afternoon we were rung and told that the restaurant was not opening until 6.15. This was a little concerning as we were off to a show. On arrival we explained that we had a show to attend. We ordered straight away. Our anxiety increased the longer the meal took to arrive. Finally after 55 minutes the meal did arrive which we had to eat quickly to ensure that we were not late for the show. Food was excellent but it would have been good to have more time to appreciate it. The rating for service is for the length of time our meal took and not our waiter who was friendly and attentive.
The menu dosent my tastes, I dont like peper crusted steak and I dodn't see the reference to the crust when I ordered. I don't like wasted food, when I order a small serve of frys that is what I want, I am not asking for a discount. Wwhen I order carrots, I don't want feta, almonds or anything else on them, just correctly cooked carrots, surely it is not that hard. If I missed reading a full description, perhaps you can improve the lighting so the menu can be read easily. The steak was cooked to perfection, the correct carrots were to die for, my guest said the lamb was "Okay". No decent breads, I love a good garlic bread and so do most of the population so hard to understand why we were given 6 bread rolls when we could have been sold garlic bread
Great service from Agnes and Julia. Food was lovely and staff amazing. Always a good night.
Julia is a wonderful hostess
A place where you can relax and enjoy fine food
Both Dinner and Breakfast was very delicious, fresh and lots of variety on offer. The staff are extremely friendly and the coffee from the Bar was really good. My only negative was the prices on the lunch menu served in the Bar / Lounge area. Most were around $25 and not really anything good for kids - a little expensive for families, who may just want a sandwich or something lite for lunch.
We both thought the range and quality of the food provided was a substantial let down based on our expectations. That said, the meal then represented poor value for money. By way of comparison the Gold Coast Sheraton Seafood Buffet at $65 is dramatically better value.
The 2 piece band that was playing was fantastic. Great vocals, great guitar playing and the right mix of songs. Fantastic!
Fabulous food and service were very enjoyed the night.
We are generally very happy with the service, however, the Christmas night was not up to standard We had a dreadful dark and dingy disappointing location on the back wall away from the music and difficult to access The waiter was over worked Ron & Fran
Poor and slow service. Meals not appealing. Wait staff disengaged from patrons.
We had terrible service, waited for 25 minutes when we arrived to be offered a drink and that was after having to see the concierge for assistance. After sitting for at least 10 minutes my sister got up from her seat to get the table a jug of water. We were never offered any spring water. We poured our water ourselves from the jug and this was not refilled and we had to request more water later in the afternoon. To make matters worse we were seated next to the musicians, my daughter and husband have hearing impairments both wearing hearing aides so were unable to talk across the table due to the music speakers next to our table. My daughter was crying as she felt bad that her hearing loss was affecting due to our table placement. Our sparkling bottle of wine eventually given to us after half an hour of arrival did not get served in an ice bucket. When we did eventually eat the dirty plates sat on the table for long times before being taken away. This was a memorable day for all the wrong reasons. Extremely disappointed as this was part of my present to my family☹️
Lovely cant add to that
Unfortunately I was unable to participate in the most waited for lunch due to being afflicted by food poisoning on Xmas eve which eventuated into me going to St V’s xmas morning for IVT. My family members who did participate informed me the lunch again lived up to expectations.
I am very upset as we had a child aged 5 and you charged us Our booking was henry for 9 We were charged for two kids that were 5 yrs old I booked at least a month ago with arj and organised it
