With its elegant yet chic setting, the Cliff dishes out an extensive selection of homemade pastas, antipasti, starters, desserts as well as gourmet pizzas, baked to perfection in a wood-smoked oven, all delicately paired with the finest selection of premium world’s wines and refreshing beverages.
Fantastic dining experience. The restaurant should be full given the set lunch special. Perhaps consider adding another choice for dessert.
I’ve booked at the Cliff for lunch and wanted to change the timing 1 hour in advance of my existing booking. I’ve emailed and there’s no feedback. I’ve called and the call was cut off. Tried to call again but it was already on a busy tone. Hence I did not proceed with my booking because I did not receive any reply.
We truly enjoyed the brunch at The Cliff. Good food, relaxed environment and good service. We will definitely come again.
The ambiance there was fantastic for my anniversary celebration with my partner. The staff took the effort to help set up our table; our server, Azhura, was particularly warm and receptive throughout the entire night. Overall, great food, great atmosphere and fantastic service.
The tartare taste like bland tuna with mayo, maybe tuna Mayo taste better, avocado and roe on it was so little it makes no difference. The Pizza with the Foie Gras, the Foie Gras is tasteless to go with the pizza, the cheese on pizza is almost like homemade cheap cheese on toast, thats how it taste like to be blunt, The sea soup tasted is not refined. Overall maybe I ordered the wrong dishes but it is like gimmicky dishes with good ingredients, Sea Bass? Foie Gras? doesn't taste better. I am disappointed by the quality of the food, not even a single nice dish, the birthday cake complimentary was average Please improve in food, the place has a nice Ambience for a romantic dinner.
Staff were friendly and held our reservation for us even though we were quite late. Kudos also for the surprise birthday cake! Regarding the food, it was really good too - we could tell that the chef put in a lot of care in creating each dish. A memorable and wonderful restaurant altogether. :)
The food was really good. Not my first time and it still pleases.
Generally I would rate the quality of food as good as my daughter and I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere on a week day afternoon was pretty conducive as it was fairly quiet with lesser diners. However, I must say the time taken for the main course preparation took much longer than expected. While I did not raise a complaint while waiting for the main course, I was expecting at least a simple apology for keeping us waiting for so long for the main course when the main course was finally served but there was none. In addition, I had indicated during my reservation that I would be celebrating my daughter's birthday but there was no extra gesture by the restaurant for my daughter, so I was a tad disappointed, this leaves me to wonder why there was even a need to indicate the reason for visiting the restaurant at the online reservation site.
Service is generally poor in Singapore no matter where you go. However, the two staff who waited on our large booking here was amazing. They catered to our needs we had a group of 13 including 3 kids and they provided balloons and flowers for the event to make it a nice celebration lunch for us. We loved our experience Prosecco lunch there and honestly one of the rare positive dining experience in SG where there was nothing to complain about. Thank you to young lady and Uncle who made our day.
We have been for the Prosecco lunch before, and came back anticipating a relaxing lunch, but before we had even finished the starters the pasta was brought! That meant that it had to sit there congealing in the warmth. This is an Italian restaurant, not a Chinese banquet!
The setting of the restaurant is beautiful. I love the greenery and the blue from the sea. Service is outstanding. And food is good. Overall I have a lovely time and I definitely recommend this place to everyone!
The food was authentic Italian, without a doubt. The service was truly great especially placing flowers, balloon and a LOVE signage for our Anniversary made it a truly memorable evening. Thank you.
Very nice service, ambience and food. The pasta and pizza is very food
Excellent Food & Service and value for money!
Associate Director Sanjay and his staff offered excellent personalised service. We felt very well taken care of and will definitely come back.
Absolutely fabulous setting, ambience and food. Unfortunately the experience was let down by dreadful service.
Ambience and Service were great. However the food was quite disappointing especially the signature lobster spaghetti. The noodle was super bland and soggy and hardly any lobster meat found. The slow-cook pork chop texture was dry as well.
Food quality is excellent. However the wait staff needs more training to befit a fine dining establishment. They took a long time to serve us. The waiter asked me what starter I wanted when the gourmet dining set clearly stated it already. Cutlery was placed on the table when the plates from the previous course had not yet been removed. Some courses were served by wait staff with shorts who appeared to originate from the kitchen. Wine glasses were not refilled and left empty for the longest time. More training in food presentation is also desired. Waiters either mumbled and left dishes quickly on our table or didn’t say a thing.
Overall the view was the best part but the food & service need to really improve as I was waited for at least 20mins for next dish out.
The menu was very very limited. That was one of the main drawbacks. For such a lovely location I felt the menu was a total waste and did not do justice to the restaurant . The pricing to was way above the level of food served. I would not be going back any time soon.
Overall we had fun. Nice location and setting. The menu seemed limited. I had the seafood soup and the portion was quite small
Very relaxing place with good food. The pizza was one of the best and pasta dish was also great.
It’s my first time to try the daily set lunch menu here. I found the quality and presentation was good, but the menu published online was deceiving. It mentioned at least 3 choices for each course on the website and at the bottom with a price tag of $38++. But when I got to the restaurant, each course has one choice needs to supplement additional $10-$12.... if you add it all up you easily pay $10-$34++ extra, on top of the original price tag of $38. To me this is deceiving, the price tag of additional supplement should have been included in the menu published on the hotel website, to avoid disappointment and misleading. The aircon inside is very cold and hardly anyone dining there. We informed the waiter to adjust the airflow but still ended ip waking out in freezing mode, certainly drag down the dinning experience.
