Food and service was excellent!
Special night booked for my wife’s birthday. Expected Sofitel standards/quality along with the Sofitel prices. The waiter bringing the food was same standard as a food court - expecting me to make space on the table, clearing and stacking my own used plates and cutlery, reaching across table to place my wife’s plate for main course and depositing it in middle as he couldn’t reach. Don’t you train your staff? Yet you charge 5-star prices? Very disappointed
Didn’t seem to have enough staff inside serving .. restaurant is not crowded and full but the Waiters and Waitresses seem to be busy .. had to wave our hands vigorously to get their attention .. not sure if the staff inside serves the tables outside at the balcony but if they do , then I think they might be serving too many tables as there seems to be quite a few of staff at the bar area which was rather empty.. food wise alright I guess
I ordered pork in pluma sauce as one of my dishes and found it too salty for my liking but I loved the meat itself; tender with the right amount of fats. Your team can probably tone down on the saltiness of the sauce but this’s just my personal preference.
The staff were very inattentive, brought the wrong drinks, smashed a champagne bottle next to our table and took almost 1 hour to clear it ( I'm pregnant and that was a hazard frankly and I told them I was pregnant prior) The manager took the feedback and extended the free flow but the service continued to be poor. We asked for dishes and drinks multiple times until they arrived. The place was not too busy and the staff seemed to have no clue what was going on. For the name and price I expect better and this is not the first time the service has been this bad - something has to change if they expect to compete with nearby restaurants at that price.
Was a pleasant experience. Food and service were good! Love the ambience too. We were celebrating our anniversary and I requested a table with a nice view and they arranged a nice table for us and even set up the table with little romantic decorations, which were really nice! 👍
The entrees were very good, refreshing and brightly flavoured. The mains were good, although the pasta carbonara was so intensely rich it couldnt be finished. The canoli pastry for dessert was too thick and bland and sadly didnt complement the rest of the meal. The service and atmosphere was very nice.

very unequal quality of food clumsy service, albeit nice people, but lack of experience poor wine list, and 3 out of 5 beer choice out of stock Definitely not what to expect from a 5 star resort restaurant and a disappointment. Not the first time we go, and no improvement. Also, there does not seem to be any manager in that place (nor in the hotel).
Had soya glazed pork pluma last night . Very very salty . Too much soya sauce
The menu is now very limited, although the food was nice it was very highly priced. The wines by the glass are not worth as they give half pours, so only buy a bottle if you are going there. I would only eat there if staying at the hotel

Very pleasant experience, we also appreciated extra service due to our wedding anniversary, sich as a beautif and very tasty cake, and a personalized ballon!
The Easter Brunch at the Cliff was amazing! The food was so good, and such value for money. The service was prompt, especially when filling up the freeflow prosecco and water. Will definitely come back!
Food was very heavy, too rich. Pizza was of unacceptable quality for an establishment of this level. Waiters kind but understaffed.
We had to wait 45 minutes before a waiter would come to our table and take our order. The pizza was dry and the pasta too salty. The service was very slow and not really friendly.
We recognized Ryan as the one who checked us in. He wasn’t our waiter but we still asked for his recommendations anyway. And he was spot on! To the crew and the chefs: Thanks for the wonderful dinner and excellent service.

Awesome birthday dinner at the Cliff restaurant in Sofitel! The dinner was fantastic with amazing service! The whole property is beautiful and we had an amazing view! Special thanks to Jason Yee for an awesome experience!
Unfortunately as much as we love to to give good rating, they are short staffed vecause the food arrive late. We are really hungry and we can see the staffs are trying to accomodate to every guest but if food arrives after 1 hour plus, no matter how nice the service is. It would not help with the environment. Something has to be done with the kitchen. Food is too slow to ruins the ambience, food was so so, nothing nice therefore we wont be returning sadly 🥲
Food was ok but not great (pasta was a bit bland, pizza like an American pizza, tiramisu was pretty bad (good test of an Italian restaurant) . Service was good and restaurant setting is nice
I celebrated my wife's birthday over a dinner at The Cliff restaurant. We were assisted by Jason. Jason is very knowledgeable, and provided us very good recommendations on dishes for the various courses. He was attentive and never failed to look out for us and proactively attended to all our requests during our meal. Jason was accommodative and offered to pack part of our meal that we couldn't finish back to our room. When he heard that it was my wife's birthday today, he not only offered his well wishes but also offered us a complimentary slice of cake along with a candle and lighter for our mini celebration in our room. We observed that Jason has a keen eye for detail as well, such as by opening the restaurant doors for patrons when they were about to leave. Jason has left a deep positive impression on us, and he amplified the warmth and welcoming gestures which we experienced during our stay in the hotel. Thank you for the great experience which you have given us on our first stay at Sofitel Sentosa, and our first visit to The Cliff.
I was early for my appointment and arrived 30 minutes before 12. The Indian waiter at the bar outside the cliff, saw that I had 2 young children and he made them drinks on his own accord. My wife and I were very impressed with his level of service and how he spoke to my kids and had a conversation with them. Such attentive service staff is hard to find!!
