About The Chilli Pickle Guildford
We are a nationally-acclaimed regional Indian restaurant.
We're passionate about Indian culture, local produce and traditional methods.
rice was wrong, food was great but service needs to be lifted. Waited a long time and was a Monday night with not many covers. The extra service charge needs to be removed from the bill, let customers choose there tip.
Lovely food. Excellent presentation.
Lovely authentic restaurant- great food and friendly staff.
Nice food, but far too expensive, no atmosphere, not very busy for a Saturday night i wonder why?
Ambience of place very nice and service very good . The food was average and portions not very big . My husband didn't like the bone left in the chicken in his curry and I thought the chicken pieces in my Biryani too big and it wasn't very tasty .The bill was £90 which was a lot when the three of us only had one drink and not many sides etc. Not very good value for money at all . Our local Indian restaurant , Farncombe tandoori has much tastier food and better sized portions and is very good value for money .
Never disappointed. Friendly staff and great food of course.
Truly wonderful food, easily a match for Brighton. Very helpful and friendly service. Such a shame that restaurant was pretty empty. Guildford doesn't deserve you!
Brillant Asian food with Amazing spices xx
was over 10 minutes before we got drinks and over 25 before we had our order taken. Once food started coming it was fast and the food tasted very fresh and tasty. However the service let the place down. Pls note the waitress we had was running around like an idiot, so not her fault, but the place wasn't that busy, so more order takers are needed.
Great food with excellent service!
Possibly the best Indian food I’ve had in the UK. Fantastic flavours and really lovely staff. Would definitely recommend over and over and over!
Had a lovely Saturday lunch. Relaxed atmosphere and the food was delicious. Will certainly be returning and recommending.
Its great but just too expensive to be anything other an occasional visit
Ensure food ordered matches what arrived! Get bill correct first time! Food was lovely but no exactly as ordered.
The food was not of the standard I would expect and the chai was not chai! It was made with Luke warm water and a dash of milk. The pani in the pani puri was also not very nice. It is a shame as the staff were nice but missed things like not providing any spoons.
My husband and I had a lovely meal here! The fish starter was delicious and the mains were very generous and tasty. My husband wants to come back to try the Sunday roast!
Fantastic service! Great food as always
Our waiter was excellent, efficient, friendly and attentive.
Staff bent over backwards to accommodate us and trust me we were not an easy bunch! Five prams, an egg allergy, someone with golluten intolerance and all of us were super slow eaters as we were dealing with crying babies! Amazing food, thank you
We went for pre theatre meal with friends . Very tasty food in a fresh trendy environment. Great service and beautifully presented dishes. It was very quiet hence the low score for atmosphere
Food was delicious and great service! My 1 year old and 5 year old children loved the children's menu. The flavours of the food were incredible and there was a lot of choice. Best Indian food I've ever had.
As a coeliac, I was really disappointed by the mis information I received at the restaurant. I was told by the manager that items were GF, when in fact they were fried in the same oil as everything else. This could have led to me being extremely ill. It was clear both from when I popped into the restaurant a few days before to check the menu suitability, and on the night, that staff are not sufficiently trained. Really disappointing:(
As always the food was great. The service was a little off this time. We had to ask a couple of times to get our drinks and then again to get some tap water.
I understand the menu is still being developed but having been to your Brighton restaurant we were a little disappointed the same things weren’t available, especially the butter chicken which is our families favourite.
It was a wet miserable Saturday evening but the Chilli Pickle was a warm, welcoming place with a lovely buzz. Food and service were what we expected- excellent.
