About The Chancery Grill
The newly opened urban Irish restaurant highlights the best of local produce, combined with ancient cooking techniques on its Asador grill. Our ethos at The Chancery Grill is to keep our food as simple and as local as we can. Simple because we want to let the produce speak for itself. The Asador grill is the key to unlocking the flavours of those ingredients. The smoking, charring and caramelising that the Asador brings to each dish we believe is the best way of showcasing Irish produce.
We eat breakfast at the Chancery Grill on 2 mornings. The first morning was excellent both in terms of the service and the food however the second morning was less so. This was entirely due to our server. It was apparent from the outset that he was not listening and got so many things wrong ( he gave us the dinner menu instead of the breakfast one, he brought orange juice instead of apple juice, he brought a cup of tea when he was asked for a pot, we got runny poached eggs when we had stressed repeatedly for very hard eggs). It was such a pity as our server the day before had been excellent.
Hi I can't fault anything about the dinner. The food was delicious, the service flawless and friendly. The venue is lovely, modern and comfortable. With the current restrictions in place felt very safe. Highly recommended.
Beautiful service, beautiful atmosphere
This is such a great find!! The staff could not have done more for us. Wonderful heated terrace with firepits great food and service. The terrace could do with better lighting.
The staff were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious. Could not fault it.
Very friendly, welcoming staff, only had a small meal of chicken wings and fries, they were very tasty.
No atmosphere in restaurant because the hotel was empty due to Covid restrictions. Staff were amazing, room was amazing. Couldn't fault the hotel in any way at all. Highly recommend for an over night stay. Andrew
Outstanding service. Fatih and the others couldn't have been more helpful in making my evening special. Delicious food, excellent ambiance. Would recommend to friends and relatives in a heartbeat.
Covid restrictions hampered atmosphere, but there is nothing that can be done about this right now.. Service was excellent, food fab. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
The Dyflin garden is a fantastic choice for a meal. The setting is perfect during the current restrictions. Good selection of food and delicious cocktails. Brilliant service from the staff too.
A sensational experience from start to finish. Highly recommended. 5 stars.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. They were also very knowledgeable about the food on offer. The food was first class and good value for money
Fabulous Hotel, the quality and service was Fantastic in the restaurant. Highly recommend
Food, drink and service absolutely fantastic. A bit expensive for afternoon tea considering one platter cost €70 between 2 people. Definitely not €70 worth of food on a platter
Our group of 10 received excellent Food, Drink and Service during these very challenging times.. I Would highly recommend the Private Dining Room for any special occasion
When we got there our booking hadn’t been recorded for afternoon tea, we were disappointed but the staff pulled it out of the bag and couldn’t do enough for us. Excellent service and very pleasant. Will definitely be back.
Lovely restaurant, quiet but suited us fine. If had to pick something- if was the French fries- has a very greasy taste from them. Steak and veg well made up for them. Wine superb and waitress lovely.
Food and staff were lovely
