About The Chamberlayne Pub
When the Chamberlayne first opened its doors back in 2007 our aim was to bring quality seasonal regional menus to Kensal Rise. Since then, The Chamberlayne has established a reputation for being the pioneering gastro pub of the area – with excellent food, service and atmosphere. This local institution has set the standard for food and drink - famed for it’s Millers of Speyside Angus Aberdeen 28 day dry aged beef, the selection of cuts from cote de beouf and Chateaubriand to ribeye, sirloin and other favourites ensure that the pub lives up to it’s ‘Steakhouse’ name. Aside from our excellent sourcing of the best meat we extend this passion to our other dishes with seasonal delicious menus developed by chef Andrew Fila and his team. Our recent refurbishment has revitalised the dining room and terrace, whilst retaining the warm friendly pub that has it’s trademark and reputation for excellent food within a relaxed informal environment. Wines, spirits and cocktails also play an important role in our selected offer and we seek to reward the drinker with an ever changing wine list; old world focused, beers ranging from established to craft and great cocktails! Warm and friendly service is what we specialise in. We can also cater for a variety of events and can offer canapés for private parties or big Sunday lunch family tables.
Fabulous as usual, love this place.
Thoroughly enjoyable place. Pies were excellent
Love it. Best Sunday lunch.
very nice and friendly pub/restaurant
We were a group of 7 women meeting for a birthday celebration. We could not have had a better evening! Some of us had specific food requirements and the service and attention from your staff was superb. They were helpful, informative and accommodated our every request with charm and efficiency. Very happy with everything and will definitely come back. Thank you! Excellent in every way!
Really lovely pub, delicous food...best steak I’ve had in ages and the staff were incredible...so helpful and friendly, nothing was a bother. Full marks all round.
Chips unseasoned and undercooked in the middle. Cod batter soggy
Creative and top quality menu...
Thank you very much, we had an amazing afternoon celebrating our late fathers life. Service, food and attention to detail was fabulous.
Thanks so much for looking after us, we had a great time and everything was perfect!
Very good service- relaxed atmosphere & lovely evening 😀😀😀
Great in all areas!
I've been going to the Chamberlayne for years and it's my favourite local pub. The food is consistently good and there's always a nice friendly vibe.
We had a fabulous time within restaurant, i think the pub area a little crowded and noise for us, but would still recommend to others, couldn't fault the lovely food and service given
Lovely food. Bill was overcharged, but staff were apologetic and rectified and took a couple of drinks off the final bill.
Fabulous food and wine . Thank you for a great night.
This was the first time we have visited for Sunday Lunch, preferring to come generally in the evenings. The menu was more limited so we opted for the Sunday lunch roast with sirloin of beef that was very tender and flavoursome. The accompanying veg were good, although the potatoes were not perfect (perhaps reheated - a tad glutinous and not crisp or floury. Service was friendly and it is good value for money.
Love the Chamberlayne. Had a delicious lunch but the horse radish wasn’t strong enough :)
Excellent Sunday Roast. Great Children’s menu
Great vibe, food and booze!
Friendly service and good food.
A super evening as always. Thank you
Excellent steak and wine!
Cozy back dining room with lovely service and really top notch steaks.
