About The Carvery
This local restaurant first opened its doors in 2001, and your hosts Karen and Mark, along with their kitchen and front of house teams, have been offering a warm welcome to regulars and tourists ever since. The Carvery is well known for its good quality fresh food, excellent service and comfortable surroundings.
Offering a selection of roasted meats including delicious roast beef, ham, turkey, lamb and pork with all the trimmings. There is a wide choice of freshly prepared seasonal vegetables, roast and mashed potatoes and the best Yorkshire puddings. The menu offers a range of starters including classic prawn cocktail, goat’s cheese and beetroot salad, Caesar salad and Chicken Liver Pate. Main courses include Argentinian Angus sirloin steak, traditional fish & chips and delicious salads. Save room for home-made puddings including crème brulee, summer fruit pudding and Pavlova to name a few (change daily).
The restaurant is light and airy, with air conditioning throughout, and offers a beautiful naturally lit glassed in terrace that gives you the feeling of sitting outside whilst remaining cool. This room is perfectly situated for private parties, everything from golf dinners, family celebrations, small weddings and more. The recent move has allowed for a comfortable bar where guests can enjoy a drink before or after dinner, or just pop in for a glass of wine and bar snack.
The Carvery, Montemar prides itself on being child friendly and has a well-appointed playroom so the children can go off and play, make new friends and watch the likes of Paw Patrol whilst the adults enjoy their meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The décor offers a stunning wall of plants in the terrace. Huge lamps that were reclaimed from the entrance to the Suez Canal can be found in the restaurant, alongside artwork and sculptures from artists Polly Hope, Theo Crosby and Dido Crosby.
Great food great serice and great value for money
Absolutely fantastic food and service will be back again this week...
Very happy with everything
Waiter lovely think he was called Warren. Very pleasant friendly guy who was great at sorting out our different dietary needs. Even advised us that we could have nut roast for vegetarian
food and service was first class
Dress code should be introduced- and there was a teenager riding around on a scooter The chap on the next table was showing all of his bottom - and a women was wearing what looked like pyjama shorts The food and service excellent
The best Carvery of my life. Even better than any of the carveries that I have visited in England. I would personally prefer that the air conditioning was set a little bit cooler.
Excellent food and attentive service. Very efficient with a very good booking website. Will definitely go again even though it is over an hour's drive to get there.
Great friendly atmosphere. New waiter was so well informed and excellent at her job you would believe she had been working at the carvery for years and not a week. Great to find a place that caters for meat eating vegetarian and gluten free people
Very good traditional Sunday roast. Thanks very much, delicious. X
Without a doubt the nicest carvery dinner I've had, would highly recommend anyone in the area paying a visit to the carvery, will definitely be back
Fantastic restaurant with great food, great atmosphere, clean and friendly! The staff are brilliant! Would fully recommend.
The food was fabulous.
Lovely meal excellent service
Absolutely fab as always. Brilliant end to our hols
We booked table for 8pm and arrived just before and was told there was a small wait so we went to the bar 4 a drink and waited for 30 mins until someone came and got us to go to our table, lots of people had come in after us and were taken to their tables before us.once seated we both said we wud like the carvery and were told someone would come and get us wen they were ready so we waited and waited and after another 15 minutes we asked a waitress if we could go up yet she asked someone else and they said yes.weve been here several times before so knew the food was good but to wait 45 minutes to eat was longer than we would wait again.
No one I have taken to the Carvery has had any complaints what so ever. The food is very good at the carvery and the fish and chips is one of the very best I have tasted. Thank you to all the staff in making our visits to the Carvery so enjoyable.
Delicious food and a personal, friendly service; best carvery we have found on the coast so far!
This was our second time in a week the only complaint this time was the ham had a lot of fat around the edge about 1/2 an inch this was the only fault apart from this it was perfect on both occasions
Fab as always!
This is by far the best place to eat in Benalmadena and value for Money the carvery and fish and chips are to die for pardon the pun
