About The Camberwell Arms
If you would like to book with us please search for a table on your preferred date and time. If there is no availability please give us a call on 0207 358 4364 and we may be able to find you a table.
The Camberwell Arms is a neighbourhood restaurant offering the best quality produce at affordable prices.
The food at The Camberwell Arms is rooted in high quality produce and simple cookery. Using the best seasonally available fruit and vegetables, dry aged native-breed meat and sustainably caught fish, and our charcoal grill, the menu is a mixture of classic and delicious dishes that fundamentally we want to eat. We make virtually everything we sell in house including all our own butchery.
Sharing plates are a big part of what we do, from our own suet pastry crusted pies to herb fed rotisserie chickens and large steaks.
Another very tasty meal, thank you! It is always a pleasure- imaginative tastes and textures and delicious wine. All managed very well by frontline staff. I’m just look forward to returning to the more normal hub hub!
One of the best Sunday meals I've had this year. Wonderful pie with excellent service.
Lovely evening. Love the new decor. Service and food excellent.
A lovely, welcoming atmosphere and great food
Fantastic food and host
Amazing food, great understanding of flavours. Friendly and generous service. A very exciting local restaurant and pub. Camberwell is lucky.
Food was very expensive, however to be fair the food was of a much higher standard than you’d expect from a pub! I wasn’t a huge fan of the horseradish sauce on my main but that’s personal preference I guess!
Missing Michael's cooking. Ideas behind the current dishes a little confused. Greengage salad good. Cod starter meh. Courgette main looked unappetising. Mackerel was overpriced and undercooked. Waitress observed it was untouched when she collected the plates but did nothing further about it. I paid the bill - £200 plus for four people - and left hungry.
Great as always. 👌
Awesome evening - well done for refurb upstairs - look forward to See downstairs Refurb
Delicious food and excellent service. We are looking forward to the reopening of the main dining room!
Hands down the most stylish, charming and delicious restaurant in London. Best menu, and best team. This place ticks all the boxes.
Delicious food and friendly and helpful service, nice relaxed atmosphere.
Wonderful food and attentive staff. The room looks great , we loved the art!! We felt very well looked after and had a really happy evening. Thank you!
Delicious food, highly recommend.
Some of the best Sunday roasts I think I've ever had. LOVE LOVE LOVE that you're super dog friendly, even in the restaurant (and our Labrador who got the eat the fat from our rump roast agrees). It can be a bit loud at times if the restaurant's full, and I wish some of the roasts were available in single-serving size, but those are minor quibbles.
I have been coming for years and this place goes from strength to strength. The new upstairs dining room is brilliant - such a great vibe and COVID compliant to boot!
Gorgeous interior. Super lovely staff and delicious food. Can't wait to go back.
Was pleasantly surprised with the incredibly high standard of our Sunday lunch. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu/venue. Very good social distancing provisions implemented through table spacing.
My wife and I had the most lovely time yesterday and the Camberwell Arms. The Service and food is beyond perfect! if you haven't had the steak pie for 2 you really haven't lived it is honestly the best pie I have ever had!
As always, food and flavours were amazing but also great atmosphere and fantastic staff
Whilst I was expecting a great dining experience due to reviews on the net I must say that I was a tad disappointed...upon arrival I was not expecting that some of the menu wasn't available so the only option I had was the Beef for a Sunday roast. The Beef itself was absolutely wonderful but at £52.50 I expected a little more trimmings (Yorkshire pudding wouldn't go a miss) other that a plate of Watercress and cold roast potatoes....Orange wine was perfect along with my dessert....would I rush back? I don't think so!
Love it here! Such delicious food, and always so inventive. Staff friendly and attentive as always.
