We had a great evening & meals, 5 adults & drinks, unfortunately 20minutes after arriving home my husband became very unwell, which continued right through the night.I contacted the restaurant to let them know as it was from something he had eaten. I felt it important the kitchen was made aware in case other diners became affected also. They did follow up with us the following day, but didn't offer any real empathy or compensation for the issue. Not a good customer service response in our opinion!

We did log your complaint for future reference. We have not had any other reports from the night you dined. As discussed on the phone most items ordered were shared amongst the 5 of you which does indicate that perhaps your husband was unwell from other causes and it is simply bad timing. I am very sorry that he fell unwell. We certainly take any complaint regarding sickness very seriously and log it accordingly as well as investigate internally. i have order steak with black paper corn but it was very waterly and it was very disappointed. I never have waterly black papercorn souce on steak before in my life- very disappointed

Ceviche was some tasteless hunks of fish cut up. The ocean trout was very basic - looked like smoked salmon. My wife's Crispy skin Barramundi had limp skin although the flesh was OK. My rib eye was rare as ordered albeit not seared on outside. Prior to that we were given a bottle of water but no glasses were forthcoming until asked for. Could be nice middle range place to eat but you have problems.

Had Entertainment Card, but didn't realise when I booked on Dimmi that this could not be used on Valentines Day. Therefore found the meal quite expensive.

We ordered the mixed board platter, and asked to remove one item and have extra of another. The restaurant was very accommodating in that way. The food that came out however, was just ordinary. We had one good waitress, but aside from that, we were basically ignored.

Atmosphere is a bit lacking as it’s right next to the lobby but not enclosed. Food and presentation was good. We dined her with Accor plus benefits so it was good value.

Thought we would give this restaurant a go since we have looked at its menu a number of times. Decided on an early dinner and turned up to a quiet restaurant with only 2 other tables of 4 seated. Drinks took a while do be delivered, no mixers just wines from the list. We were asked 2 more times(by two more waitstaff) if we would like drinks while waiting for our original order. They finally turned up. Ordered entrees and mains as well as sides and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. The steak and soup ordered for mains were delivered and 3 minutes later the final main was placed on the table, no sign of our sides. After waiting a further 4-5 minutes we got the attention of o waiter and asked him to check on our sides. A few more minutes passed and most of our mains eaten we cancelled our sides, which we were then told were only a minute or two away. Quite disappointed with this as we would have loved to enjoy the whole meal to see if this could become a more regular restaurant for us. To the credit of the establishment, the sides and drinks were taken from our bill, which we were thankful for, but did mention that the removal of drinks was not necessary. We hope that in the future if we were to return, these small oversights would not happen.
We have dined here many times it is very hit or a big miss. This time it was a miss yet again. Simple things like providing serving spoons for salad should be automatic not needed to be asked for. Refilling water bottles even when they are placed prominently on the table to show they are empty and not just moved to put food there. Being served by numerous staff when not that busy. Maybe allocate 2 or 3 tables to one staff member so the consistent in service is good
Very disappointed with the Caesar Salad and Souffle. The roman lettuce are in whole pc. never cut. The salad sauce put at the bottom and not mixed. The croutons were not croutons but the whole piece of toast biscuit. The whole dish liked preparation to make caesar salad. The souffle was not well bake, still runny inside. I have ordered duck breast which is good but not hot enough.
The staff are so helpful and above all friendly and cheerful. Nothing is too much trouble. Always a pleasure to stay there. It’s a great location and the hotel staff make you feel at home.
We went there for our Xmas break up the service was impeccable and everyone enjoyed there meal. Would highly recommend you.

Food was very good with lots of choice but all a little overpriced. Bit surprised that we had to order 3 serves of garlic bread between 5 people!

Our host was remarkable. His service and skills and attitude made our day perfect. I hope you know what a brilliant staff member you have. We will certainly be back and would recommend to others.
