About The Bridge at Bidford
The Bridge serves top quality food and drink in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, where service is friendly, warm and welcoming and the food is second to none.
Our food is locally sourced and freshly prepared and complemented by our extensive wine list, as a consequence, our menus change regularly to make the best use of fresh produce.
Can't fault it here we were a party of six not one complaint, the food as always top notch and the service, impeccable. And to top it all we were there on Good Friday so were able to sit outside on the terrace perfect.
Very good ambiance and service. Meal very good though the pork could have been a little more tender but good flavour and excellent sauce.
It was an impromptu spur of the moment decision to go out to eat Fabulous food and the menu is such good value. Attentive( but not too attentive) staff. Would highly recommend .
An excellent lunch in a very pleasant atmosphere.
Great meal and good service from Patrick and his colleagues as usual
This was our third visit for Sunday lunch and, as ever, the food and service were excellent. The menu is spot on. So much so there isn’t anything on there that we wouldn’t eat. Staff are always extremely professional and attentive. We have booked to try the Brunch in a couple of weeks and are really looking forward to returning.
Met up with friends for a reunion. Never been to Bidford on Avon before and came across The Bridge. What a lovely place! It was excellent from the The venue, the Food and the Service. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Thank you for putting us by the window as I requested! Service was lovely and attentive without being obtrusive. Great food and the wine was very nice for A wine by the glass choice.
I should say that the quality of presentation and taste of the food remain good. We last went to The Bridge about 6 years ago and were disappointed with the portion sizes then and, unfortunately, this concern was not allayed by our recent experience.I do not subscribe to the view that small portion sizes are the price you should pay for a 'sophisticated' dining experience. This is the reason I have only given 3 out of 5 for 'Value for money.' I was slightly disappointed by the dry taste of the duck and the sight of the sauce congealed around the edge of the plate but this was quickly rectified by provision of more (but a different) sauce which really helped to bring out the flavour of what was a very pleasant meat. Oddly, although the restaurant claimed not to take Amex, the payment has been accepted and, at the time of writing, I wait to see if the refund will be processed since I subsequently paid by MasterCard.
Thoroughly enjoyable all around. Can't wait for the weather to allow dining outside.
It was rather warm in the restaurant, ended up having to go immediately upon finishing our meals, to get some fresh air outside. Staff need to be aware of things like this.
A great meal, and a great location. Service was good and food was reasonably priced. Only downside was there was no children's menu.
We love The Bridge! Don't get there often enough but always have a lovely time!
Consistently excellent food and service
Fantastic meal and service as always thank you
Our usual excellent visit
Had a fantastic meal here whilst having a weekend break in the Cotswolds fir my birthday. Food was great as was the atmosphere and service received. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely location with views of the River. A bit disappointing. Food was just nice really. Nothing special and overpriced for what it was.
Beautiful setting attentive friendly service and lovely food thank you
The three of us enjoyed a great meal in lovely surroundings celebrating my son's birthday last Monday night. We would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone and we hope to be able to join you again in the not too distant future.
Surprised how busy it was on a Monday night. I think this probably speaks for the quality, value for money, etc. We had a very pleasant evening, thank you.
I am a regular to the Bridge, and my loyalty is always rewarded with a great table - thank you - I never take it for granted. Food and service is always excellent, and my recent guests who were 'first timers' loved their experience. Oh and the soufflé's here are always just amazing.
A party of six with varying tastes including a strict vegetarian. The kitchen obliged, the lunch lingered in the most comfortable way, all that remained was to consult diaries and book our next meal.
The restaurant is very nice decorated and in a beautiful area. The food was very good, big portion sizes and I think good prices. The puddings were a bit on the pricier side but again delicious. My one issue was where we were sat, we were the first in the restaurant that evening and we were sat a table which was the walkway into the restaurant. All night my chair was being budget by newcomers and by staff trying to get past to serve food. If we were the last in I could have understood why we would be sat there but it seemed we got the most in the way table in the place.
Excellent evening and great service Many thanks
