About The Brickmakers Arms
A country pub with great local food surrounded by woodland on the edge of Windlesham near Sunningdale Golf Course, The Brickmakers is a fine example of a traditional pub restaurant, with a large garden and ample parking.
Really nice food and pub. Not many people there, probably because of the current crisis so I hope it doesn't create too much of an issue for the owners.
Enthusiastic welcome, really good all round. 😁
Our first visit since change of ownership. The service was excellent and the food superb. It was quiet and the staff kept a discreet presence. We would not hesitate to recommend to friends and look forward to our next visit.
The service was very slow, even after catching the attention of the waitress she said “ I’ll be with you in a moment” she never returned. I had to ask my son to actually go to the waitress station to ask for what we required as we were left waiting for 40 minutes
Sorry guys..it was a total disaster as you are fully aware
Booked on a Sunday especially for a roast but they rang to see if we wished to as they had run out! We chose not to as it was 5 friends meeting you and some would have left already/nearly leaving. Had run out of lots of other stuff too. Young Male waiter was very good but lady was slow and grouchy and seemed she would rather clear empty tables Than serve us or fetch our drinks from the bar.! Such a shame as the pub / restaurant used to have a great reputation.
Good for Sunday lunch.
Good food, very friendly staff.
Good food with friendly service
Amazing service and food!
A very pleasant meal and very good service. Thank you
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, it was Sunday lunch and very busy but they still kept a smile and never appeared rushed.
Excellent service and food. My mother loved the steak and it was cooked (burnt) perfectly as she like it :) Thank you for a wonderful night
Not how I remember it. Not a great atmosphere. Not a huge choice on the menu. Staff a bit stand offish. Shame, as it always had such a good reputation.
Absolutely amazing, food, service and atmosphere perfect and will be definitely visiting again.
After a difficult start following on from the previous owners the restaurant has picked up and is now on a par. The menu is varied and the food of very good quality and the service can’t be faulted. I would certainly recommend the place to anyone seeking good English fare in nice surroundings and at reasonable prices.
Didn’t think prawn and smoked salmon starter was worth the money. It was very salty and so were the mushrooms on the other starter.
Visited the Brickmakers on Sunday afternoon with the family. Nice and relaxed environment. The fact it was busy shows the appreciation of the service and food. All our meals delivered in timely manner and excellent choices made. Very friendly and attentive staff.
Lovely pub, great food and helpful staff. However the only baby change facilities are in the ladies toilets, making it impossible for a male to change their infant, other than in the car park. The pub needs to fix this urgently...it is 2020!
Came for Sunday lunch, the food was very nice but did take a little bit longer to arrive than we were expecting... nearly 40 minutes. We weren’t in a rush but were hungry! The red wine we ordered was cold. The staff were very polite and gave good service.
Great meal thoroughly enjoyed
The food we had was nice but we thought the menu was very restricted in that there were only 2 things on it that I could have chosen. it was very much less busy han it had been on previous visits
