The Brasserie is open Monday to Sunday. Brunch is served 8.30am – 11.30am, lunch 11.30am – 2.30pm, and dinner from 6pm – 9.30pm. The bright and buzzy Brasserie is open for brunch, lunch and in to the evening. With views to die for and atmosphere aplenty, this relaxed restaurant serves up seasonal specials to ensure you are always getting the freshest, tastiest dishes in the North East.
Really enjoyed eating in the brasserie. Food and drink were excellent. Service from all in the brasserie was good, but the recommendation for both food and drink from Steven were spot on - felt like he went the extra mile. Will recommend to all friends and family.
The golf course and facilities are excellent. The food and service however is well below expectations. After getting a menu to look at the deserts it took the waiting staff 25 mins to return to take our order, even after becoming them over three times. The place was not busy. The golf and Spa are excellent, if only they’d match it with the food and service

My recent visit to the brasserie was a lovely experience, I was on a spa break with a friend we used the restaurant through the day for lunch and coffee while using the spa. The service was brilliant and just as good when we returned for our evening meal. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Our experience over the past two days has been superb - outstanding service every member of the team were so accommodating and friendly our bedroom was stunning and all Meals we had first class- spa experience fab. I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED THE BRASSERIE AT ROCKCLIFFE HALL HOTEL AS PART OF A SPA DAY. THE FOOD AND SERVICE IS ALWAYS SUPERB AND BEING GLUTEN FREE THE STAFF THERE ARE VERY HELPFUL AND AWARE OF ANY SPECIAL DIETRY NEEDS. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THE BRASSERIE TO EVERYONE.
Brought children for afternoon tea not knowing about the theme. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. A lot of thought has gone into this for the children. Staff where amazing !!!
Food and drink were lovely, although they had no muscles left. However, this matter was rectified well and alternatives offered. Service was slightly slow for order taking and receiving wine. The rest was good.

The staff in the brasserie, were lovely. Very friendly and welcoming. The food was very nice, and the complementary starter was a lovely touch. The gentleman who greeted us (unfortunately I forgot his name, but he had lost his voice) was very Nice and went out of his way to make sure that we had enjoyed our food. Looking forward to coming back.

The pool and spa areas were lovely beautifully clean and fresh, however I found the pool and water just a bit HOT! Also wad a bit disappointed to find how expensive the drinks were but thye are the only criticisms as we had a wonderful day. Very nice atmosphere and the whole relaxation/spa experience was lovely, particularly the facial which was excellent (Emma was very good at her job, knew her products well) The lunch was nicely presented although some of the clientele on the day were a little rowdy! Shame but that’s not the fault of RH. Overall a very relaxing experience to be recommended
We had a fabulous meal in the Brasserie to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The team were all lovely, food delicious and they spoiled us with complimentary chocolates to wish us a happy anniversary. It was all really lovely and i would recommend the brasserie to anyone looking for a really special meal.
Good selection on menu, excellent service and great tasting food.
I had prepaid £120 for three courses each which I thought was expensive but at a 5* hotel thought reasonable. Restrictions over what you can order or pay even more for something off the other menu.Starter was lovely - tasty and visually appealing. Mains were terrible. Sea bass wasn’t seasoned (partner is a chef so knows his food) and my steak didn’t come with the sauce I ordered, when I asked where it was I was asked if I had indeed ordered it and eventually it came. Steak had parts to it I had to spit out as unable to chew. Asked if we would like to see a dessert menu- yes please. It didn’t arrive. After twenty mins we asked another waiter for one. Desserts were lovely. Overall a very expensive meal, not what you would expect from a 5* venue at all and left disappointed
Excellent spa day: all the staff in the spa, brasserie and treatment room were really lovely and friendly and very professional and made our day in to an unforgettable experience that we would very much like to repeat and definitely hope to come back. Thank you so much for a lovely day
