About Waterside at Langstone Quays
The 2 AA Rosette award-winning Brasserie at Langstone Quays Resort occupies a prominent position overlooking the Langstone Harbour & Estuary, the perfect setting in which to enjoy al fresco dining on the terrace.
Our delicious seasonal menus are written by our Head Chef, James Parsons, who is also dedicated to using as much fresh and local produce as he can. Our range of wines is extensive; you will certainly find a bottle to suit your dining experience!
Will not be returning.
A lovely afternoon tea in a beautiful location with views over looking Langstone Quays..perfect
Excellent value for money. Varied menu, to meet most tastes. Presentation and quality of food superb.
Hi. We are staying at your hotel for 3 nights and I would strongly recommend you to friends and family. Excellent value for money and your staff are amazing and helpful and happy well done yours Jacky & Greville
As we had booked a premier room, we would have expected a view NOT of the car park. Evening meal was ok, but nothing special, and our waitress disappeared once our main course arrived. Luckily we did not require a dessert, so we simply got up and left!
A wonderful tasty lunch, excellent service. The new decor is lovely..
We had a lovely stay in this hotel, the room was fresh Clean and inviting. The restaurant was beautiful and the food excellent. The staff in the restaurant made our day Special by bringing out a surprise plate of chocolates and Jellies on a decorated plate as they had found out that it was our 32nd wedding anniversary . Truly a wonderful hotel and staff
Amber and the team looked after us exceptionally. I was very surprised to get a birthday surprise plate but it made me feel very special. My only suggestion would be for hot plates for cooked breakfasts. All round terrific.
Delicious lunch, well served by Crystal and a very nice refurbishment.
Dining at Waterside is worth experiencing. Staff are so attentive and pay attention to detail. You feel a very valued customer. Food choices are very good with different menus to choose from, there is something for everyone.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Good choice of food, we’ll presented and served on hot plates. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is my pasta wasn’t quite as described.
food was great, service was fantastic
Fantastic service with a lovely atmosphere. Really good food - had a wonderful couple of days.
Service was fantastic and a great atmosphere. Food really lovely.
Very disappointed. It was as if everything had been kept in a very cold fridge and brought out straight from there. Not impressed with the quality of the food. Coffee good though.
Some menu dishes arrived not as described.
Lovely afternoon tea. Will definitely be back.
Had a lovely stay pity it wasn't longer will definatly come back.
Loved the newly refurbished areas, and I guess improvements still ongoing in some areas
The dinner menu is far too extensive. You need to focus on a smaller selection and improve overall quality. Additionally the service was very slow. It was the Easter weekend so maybe the staff were stretched but I would assume a hotel of this size would have taken this into account and brought in more staff.
We spent 25 minutes without being offered even a glass of water, then 50 minutes later my husband had to walk to the restaurant reception where a gaggle of managers and waiters we all in a heated discussion. They apologised and we placed our order. 25 minutes later the starters arrived but were seared to the plate after spending to long under halogen lights. Half an hour later after several complaints we spoke to the manager- Ryan and then the main course arrived. The only saving grace were Nicola & Ryan who couldn’t have been more apologetic and offered the meal at no charge. Even so it was the worst experience we have encountered in a 2 AA rosette restaurant.
Fantastic stay, all perfect only comment is that it was a disappointment that the Jacuzzi wasn't working.
They tried their very best but they were inexperienced wait staff. Food took a long while to arrive - people around us who had come in after us were getting served around us. Then the main arrived just after the starter, when we could have done with a gap.
As always I had a lovely meal and excellent service, which is why I keep coming back.
