About The Boxing Hare
Our aim is to bring country fine dining to the Cotswolds. The menu will revolve around the best seasonal produce locally sourced from British farmers with occasional indulgences as well as virtuous everyday fare.
We hope to create a warm, charming and informal atmosphere where we can build a strong following of regular, happy guests and new ones too!
Most importantly to us is that The Boxing Hare should be a great place to wile away a few hours and be looked after by people who truly love what they do.
Be it a casual drink with friends, a romantic meal, a special celebration or a family outing, we look forward to welcoming you to The Boxing Hare.
Excellent menu, well-executed. Very professional and friendly service from enthusiastic staff. Definitely felt special
Came for Sunday lunch and the food was amazing. But the waiting staff were horrendous. One of the waiters, a middle aged man, was very unprofessional, giving orders to more junior members of staff out loud in front of customers, moving tables around whilst diners were still eating. The waiting staff seemed very unorganised and out of control. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing etc. I felt paying over £70 for a 2 course lunch with 1 drink each (1 being a soft drink) was quite expensive for such poor customer service and atmosphere.
A lovely pub, great food and atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and attentive, the log burner was very cosy on a wet and windy November's evening.
Excellent food and service First class Thank you
Wonderful as ever! We live locally and The Boxing Hare is our Number 1 in terms of local establishments. Great quality food, beautifully executed. Keep up the good work!
Lovely meal, good service and attentive staff
It was our first visit here and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere, service and food was wonderful. Everywhere was very clean including crocks, plates and glassware. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. We will definitely go back.
Very friendly and attentive staff, lovely food. A great night out, soon to be repeated.
A delightful place to return to time and again
We had a lovely meal and were lucky to be given a glass of wine each on the house, which was a nice touch, thank you. We have rebooked to come for my mother’s birthday on the 8th December.
Great ! Very welcoming especially fitting us all in.
As always a wonderful lunch. Good food, excellent service.
Really enjoyed our mid week visit. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was great. A very enjoyable evening. Thank you.
Diogo and Fabio were utterly charming and nothing was too much trouble. The food was the best for miles around!!
We love this place. Love Stacy Anthony Paris Kayla and the boys. That are a great team feel a like home there and food it top notch. Well done to the great chef 👩🍳👨🍳
Loved everything we ordered, the steak was one of the best we have had. Service was amazing as well. Just perfect!
wide ranging menu with lots of choice, very pleasant staff and lovely ambience and the food is great too at a very reasonable price. Definitely one of our "go to" restaurants round here.
The best place for food anywhere around. Very good value for the quality of food, and the service you receive. Its always top of our list for places to eat.
We took a friend for her birthday and had a lovely time. Service had improved vastly from the last time we ate here, when you are paying above average you expect everything about the experience to match and this time it did.
My friend and I had the perfect evening here, and I will certainly be recommending to all my friends and family, the food and service were superb.
Stunning time we were having a girlie weekend from Wales and stayed in church Enstone.. it was a special occasion for my sister's 60th birthday and they made sure we had a fabulous experience..nothing was too much trouble from the waiting staff and in particular the owners..110%
Lovely food and a good selection of wine. Cosy and friendly atmosphere. Staff were also very lovely although the service was a bit haphazard.
The Boxing Hare was recommended to us, and therefore we decided to book for Sunday lunch - birthday treat, and what a treat it was. The food was delicious and we were made to feel very welcome and shown around the beautiful atmospheric restaurant. A sheer delight! Thank you to you all - we will certainly be back, in particular to try the 'Pan Roast Padron Peppers'
