Great food & friendly staff!
The conservatory area was comfy and cosy for our party, food and service excellent, highly recommend
We had a lovely Sunday lunch celebrating a birthday. We were a large group. The food was lovely and plenty of vegetables. The only thing that spoiled it was all the dead wasps in the window ledge behind the seating. I did point this out on departure. There were also a couple of flies flying around our flood which was annoying .
When booking our wedding we wanted chilled, informal and non wedding like. The Boundary House met all expectations and more. They worked with us to create our perfect day and that it was. We had a outdoor BBQ, with a private bar and DJ. The food was Unreal and the selection was amazing catering for all guests. Me, my husband and all our guests had the best day and I would highly recommend to anyone for any event! We worked with Stephan and we can not thank him enough for working with us. Thank you Mr and Mrs Scott
Naive was extremely polite and gave fantastic service
Great food and atmosphere as always
This was my first visit and I was impressed. Service was very good, managed our expectations so food came when we thought it would. Nothing seemed too much trouble which is always good. Our chips were not great so we got a discount which was generous but in turn we left a good tip! Our table was very sticking and we were told it had just been oiled, it was slightly uncomfortable so I would try to do this when not as busy maybe in the winter months. I came with some girlfriends but I will certainly be heading back with my hubby as he would certainly like it. I was also impressed with the outside space but maybe the car park will struggle. I also hear you do beer festivals so I will be checking this out. You obviously have a little gem so keep up the good work but at the end of the day staff make a business and you seem you have got it right. Well done.
Everything was spot on
Can I just say how fabulous yesterday was for us. The food was excellent and the staff were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they really made the day memorable for us. It can’t have been easy for them with all the littlies running around but they took it all in their stride and really took the stress out of the occasion for me by managing everything perfectly.
Yet again a lovely enjoyable time spent at The Boundary House. First time for afternoon tea but the food and selection was excellent. Friendly staff and Angela went above and beyond the call of duty.
Lovely food and very good service. Will definitely go back.
Great service. Will be back for Sunday lunch for sure.
Lovely atmosphere, food and drinks
There is a great selection of lovely food. Each time I’ve been everyone has enjoyed everything they’ve had. The drinks are also lovely, a good range of gins/cocktails. Worth every penny!
We had a really lovely meal here in very nice surroundings. My chicken, leeks and mushrooms in a wine sauce was absolutely delicious, as was my chorizo and squid risotto starter. Will definitely call again.
Staff friendly, food and drink spot on for the money. Thank you!!
Love it here. Always good
Fantastic service & food but disappointed that there no longer WiFi in the restaurant area.
Lovely food and atmosphere as always. Slow service last night however, and nobody asked if the food was ok whilst we were eating it. There didn’t seem to be anyone ‘looking after’ our area of the restaurant.
Recently moved to Methley, so this is now our local and it's FABULOUS !!!!! Great food , service and surroundings. Methley fest on last Friday of summer months, is well worth a visit !
Visited with my husband last Friday. Waiting staff a little subdued and not very welcoming. Also felt we were sat very close to other diners Starter of duck sliders too large and also very dry with no flavour , salt and pepper ribs and Asian salad was the other stater and it was ok, ribs fell apart but lacked the punchy flavour of salt and pepper. main of chicken and charred leeks was nice however not enough of the really delicious sauce. The leaks were raw and the additional veg bowl was completely undercooked - rock hard carrots, baby turnip and really awful kale. Husbands jerk chicken burger was fine. Creme Brûlée was tasty but was in too large and too shallow a dish. Other pudding was chocolate mouse which although really tasty the presentation on the plate made it look like something our dog had done. For our first visit it's was acceptable, we plan to try a Sunday lunch sometime soon
Great food ... service outstanding.. staff were great .. second time visiting here and we will be back
Really need more staff. Queues for drinks at one bar on a busy Saturday were too long. And food time wait too long
Another excellent meal.
