About The Boat House Kilsyth
The Boat House Restaurant offers the very best food and wine in the picturesque setting of the Forth and Clyde canal marina. Scotland's world famous for its warmth of welcome and hospitality and you'll find it at the Boathouse Restaurant.
“We want The Boat House to be about giving something unique and brilliant back to the community. We want people to be proud of it, and to visit and enjoy home from home comfort. This is an amazing bar hotel restaurant with really outstanding food, lovely staff and great service, in an unrivalled waterside setting. We genuinely can’t wait to share it.”
Staff were very welcoming, the service was efficient and friendly and the food was excellent.
Lovely meal had with very nice staff
We were very pleased to discover The Boathouse up and running again. Meeting up with family for lunch we were again pleased with the standard of service and food from the extensive menus. Thursday lunchtime was quite quiet certainly compared with previous visits but this may be due to former customers unaware of the reopening. Hoping for busier times ahead.
Had a lovely dinner. The Service was certainly good. Value for money. The Only fault being, we had to ask for the market menu it was not offered to us. Then we had to wait for it to be printed off
We enjoyed an excellent meal at the Boathouse in January, the food was superb (especially the amazing salmon starter really exceeded our expectations!), cocktails lovely and the service very friendly and professional. I'd highly recommend this restaurant!
My friend and I had a delicious lunch on our first visit to the Boathouse, which we chose as it's halfway between our houses. The service was good, and it was lovely to have a table by the fire on such a grim day. I sometimes feel that portions in restaurants can be rather small; not so here: the portions were generous and the food was well-presented.
Wonderful service, wonderful food and wonderful venue.
since moving to the kilsyth area in March 2019 I have visited the boat house on 3 or 4 occasions for both lunch and dinner with both family, and colleagues and I have never been disappointed with the food quality or the service provided
What a fabulous night to bring in the New Year Food and band plus fireworks were fantastic especially the food. Your staff are credit to you every one of them were terrific.
We have eaten at The Boathouse a couple of times recently and really enjoyed it. That's why we decided to come along for dinner at Hogmany. A fantastic first Hogmany at The Boathouse - food, drink, atmosphere, service all really good. (Could have danced a bit longer!). We will definitely be back.
staff were fantastic, a very young team but full of energy, sometimes nervous but extremely courteous. food was excellent. this is a place to watch, as it develops its only going to get better and better. thanks for a great night
Ours was a birthday dinner for nineteen guests. Food and service were both of a high standard. Having a dining room to ourselves was an added bonus and gave us a relaxing atmosphere. We look forward to dining in the Boat House again in the future. Many thanks
An excellent location with excellent service.
We had a lovely evening, the food was delicious and the service was good. Thank you.
Great location and good choice.
Lovely food an great cocktails, loved the log fire.
Great value for money and attentive service. We were in early, so there wasn't much of an atmosphere. Staff very friendly
No faults and love the decorations. Food great and service great. Recommended to a group of 6 for lunch today
Server was amazing, food was fab & lovely place
Thanks for a great lunch, lovely meal and service was excellent
Stayed and ate here on many occasions and it is still the best
Had a lovely evening with my family to celebrate my husbands birthday.
Food was lovely but place was empty so despite the festive Xmas decorations it lacked a bit of atmosphere
