Booked table online so easy. Service was excellent food was fantastic
Can't comment on value for money as it was a gift voucher. We loved our night away and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Always a pleasure to dine here
Nice place, lovely setting, clean toilets and pleasant staff. There were not enough staff working . They were very helpful but were rushed off their feet. The gammon steak was tough and cold and had to be redone. Thought it was a bit expensive for a lunchtime .
A definite improvement from the last time we were here. Service was way off last time, but this time, it’s like night and day! Lorraine introduced herself to us, and asked if we had been before, shook our hand on the way in and on the way out! THIS is the kind of customer service that I provide to MY customers, so it was brilliant! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, although it was just a quick lunch, but we will definitely be back! Well done Lorraine and John, who served us our food!
Menu is fine , but not very exciting , My friends burger was over cooked and only tepid . My fish pie was so hot that I presume it had been in the microwave . We didn’t complain at the time because we were so hungry. The service was good and waiter very mannerly .
We had a lovely brunch but the only negative would be that the eggs in the eggs Benedict were hard and they should be soft and runny. This spoiled it slightly for my Mum who normally loves your eggs benedict.
Thanks for a good evening
Great family Easter 🐣 Dinner
We ordered a medium to rare steak And it was well done. One of the starters was forgotten. One of the children got their finger jammed in the bathroom Door and not one person came to see if they were ok. Bad customer service also after the first drink none came to ask ifwewantedanutjing else.
We were there to celebrate my cousins 75th birthday. The staff could not do any more to make her day very special.
Great time with lovely views out over canal to Campsie hills
We all enjoyed our evening - great choice of dishes on menu - we all had something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. Will definitely come back. Very prompt service too - extra portion of chips ordered when main courses arrived arrived straightaway and were delicious. Lovely desserts too.
A fantastic place to dine and/or stay. Great atmosphere. Fantastic food. Pleasant and attentive staff. A real gem of a place and well worth a visit.
Once again a great family dinner with prompt service and quality food!
Welcommed on arrival, warm and friendly atmosphere. Never rushed, service was great and the food very tasty.
Outstanding. First time trying The Boathouse and will certainly be returning. Food delicious, staff wonderful in particular Lorraine (I think I got her name correct?). Overall highly recommended
Always a 'good' visit to The Boathouse. Friendly, welcoming and courteous staff. Thank you
Very disappointing. Have come for Mother's Day three times in the past but this was extremely poor by comparison and will not be back. Service appalling and food a rip off for value. £18.95 for soup and some beef they had fat through it.
We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Would recommend The Boat house.
We have now eaten here on three occasions and make the journey from Paisley because we enjoy the atmosphere, Food and friendliness of the staff
Another delicious meal at the boathouse
Honestly was a fantastic Afternoon Tea. A must to try.
It was very quiet because of the snow but food and service was lovely
A little bit dear but was very good
