About The Boat House
The Main Deck, with its sensational views of St Aubin’s Bay, offers a stunning and unique venue for your enjoyment. The relaxed restaurant serves a variety of traditional dishes such as Fresh Fish & Chips, our famous Boat House Fish Pie and there is also the offer of a few tapas dishes for light snacking. Where possible, our chefs use local produce to reflect the wonderful surroundings. We work closely with local suppliers to offer a range of choices to complement the season whilst retaining many favourite signature dishes.
Nice lunch in relaxing atmosphere
Lovely food, wonderful setting and very helpful and informative staff
The young manager from Bulgaria was wonderful. So friendly and helpful and we all enjoyed chatting to him.
Fantastic staff and superb menu. Recommend Pie month there delicious
A great selection of vegetarian and vegan food, served by very friendly and helpful staff. We had a most enjoyable lunch, with a lovely view too!
The staff were amazing, what a day we had, you should be very proud of them all, especially Ash who was outstanding in his customer service. Thank you to you all on what I’m sure was an exhausting day....
Even though it was a cold and wet Tuesday night the food, service and atmosphere could not be faulted. One of my favourites to eat or enjoy a pint.
Very good Feast for Less menu and the service was very good last night, thank you
Excellent food and fantastic friendly staff made the evening for us
Service was friendly and swift. Food was delicious.
Great food and service many thanks to all staff especially Brad
Service was bad. The waiter was rude to us and really disinterested. Food was ok (although the quality has really gone down hill) until we got to dessert. We placed our orders and waited about 30 minutes (as did the table behind us) before asking where our deserts were. The bar staff said they’d be coming shortly. Upon arrival, we were given the table behind us’ dessert. We had to pass these over ourselves and enquire as to our missing desserts. The staff then retook our order as they’d lost trace of it. They then came back with 2 of the orders and feedback that they’d actually ran out of fruit crumble. The two members of our party who ordered that just said to bring the bill. A couple of minutes later the waitress ran back and said ‘we’ve found some crumble it’ll be 2 minutes’... it was about 15 minutes and the crumble they had ‘found’ was clearly some biscuits smashed up on top of the microwaved fruit. They looked like the biscuits they also serve on the side of coffees. We’re not fussy but that was a joke. All of that was still quite expensive, £150 for all of us to have 3 courses and drinks. Really disappointed. Won’t be visiting Fawlty Towers again
Food was lovely and service was really great.
Waiting staff were amazing and made our evening so much better. Thank you!
Great food and atmosphere. Will definitely return.
Party of 27 were very well looked after and served very punctually. Food was excellent, save for a few grumbles that the Massaman curry was devoid or had very little chicken. Overall, very good
Staff lovely if a bit over attentive, food great value and tasty.
Lovely harbour restaurant . Very large fish portion. Nice friendly staff.
Great food, we were surprised & very pleased when we got our bill. Server initially didn’t smile but did once I asked for ice with our water and a smile !
Nice Sunday afternoon out. Food was good. Service at the table was very good and friendly but ...we had trouble paying no one around to help us. I went to the bar to pay as we needed to leave and a miserable bar man didn't speak just took the bill & card and processed it. this was disappointing. Thank you
Moved to the back away from TV area to be quieter, but even worse as large noisy party there. As there are hard floor and ceiling surfaces at that end, plus glass on three sides, the noise was magnified so talking v difficult much of the meal. You have some acoustic panels elsewhere, so I suggest you consider putting a lot of acoustic panels on the ceiling at the far end to absorb some noise. Otherwise great!
Food mostly good - my husband’s new potatoes were rather dry
We had a very enjoyable evening, food was excellent, service and staff were great. It was very busy in the Boat House however the service didn't fault at all.
