Nice to see a more varied menu. With options for vegans!
Great service on the bottomless drink offer, glass was always refreshed. Starters were great, main was a bit bland - salad could have more flavour and chicken was a bit dry. Chips were cold when arrived, however out waitress did not hesitate to correct instantly. Overall great experience and would return again.
Food was just ok.
Lovely food. The service was a bit slow though. Too busy talking with each other
Enjoyed the tea and cakes. Good quality and attentive staff . Atmosphere a bit lacking as we were your only guests but of course not your fault. Thank you for the service.
Service was great! food was delicious! staff were friendly and attentive! Shame the DJ doesn’t do requests!
We came for the bottomless prosecco brunch was lovely food was amazing and glasses always topped up. Would Definetly recommend Amy
A very enjoyable afternoon tea. Plenty of food and fresh. Will go again
Lovely afternoon tea would recommended
Food as very nice however the service was poor. Despite that we would return.
A lovely evening with beautiful food.
We should of asked to of been moved as we were seated under a very bright sky light We did not enjoy where we were as you could hear some staff behind us talking about their weekend quite loudly It was overpriced for the roast dinner and not piping hot The waiter that poured our wine at the table was very professional and efficient We won't be in a rush to go again though
We had a lovely afternoon tea, very well presented and tasted lovely, very nice friendly helpful staff
i was facing the garden on a 2 seater table. it used to be turned sideways so u could have a bit more of an idea what was going on in the restaurant i wouldn't want to sit there again. horrible idea. whoever thought that table out needs sacking.sorry...
Beautiful place We went for afternoon tea, the cream for the scones was a bit hard and frozen but other than that no faults
Lovely venue I am from Kent and have booked afternoon tea for a couple of weeks
Went on a Saturday night and felt a bit like a hen party around the bar area... but nice by our table. Very good staff.
I arranged my Engagement lunch with Craig, he was really helpful and a lovely guy. We had a fab area, great food, a lovely Bar girl who was really helpful and friendly. Everyone commented that the food was great..! There was so much choice..! Thank you for making it such a lovely afternoon.
Always good and friendly service. Great for catering to allergies and the food is always lovely. Regular favourite.
We waited 1 hour to be seated, even though we’re told to arrive 15minutes before our reservation. We also requested water to the table 4 times without being attended to. This is not acceptable for a table of 15.
Would never return or reccomend
Nice place, great decor, food was average for the price. Bottomless prosecco was good value and glasses kept topped up. Quite noisy, not somewhere for a nice quite pub lunch. Our waitress was lovely. I have been for afternoon tea before on a weekday and was so nice that I decided to book this lunch for my daughters 21st.
Love it here. The only thing that let the service down was waiting 20 mins to place our order at the start but after that the service was bang on
Brilliant day again at the Crown, staff really make the occasion for you. Thanks again and until next time..
Had a lovely meal thank you
