About The Blacksmiths Arms
Contemporary Gastro pub using the finest local produce with a relaxed atmosphere offering professional and friendly service
Great front of house. Nothing too much trouble. Very reasonably priced and were more than happy to supply a bowl of water for our dog (which we left asleep in the car!) we used to live locally and frequented there often and I’m sure we will continue to take the trip back. Great atmosphere, really friendly staff, attentive too. Nice glasses and lovely petit fors.
Great food! Great place!
Wonderful as usual!!!
We had an excellent evening at Tge Blacksmith’s Arms, but it did seem to be quite a long wait between ordering and starters. They were obviously busy but being in the top room meant we felt a little “neglected” - some warm bread or nibbles would have kept us appeased! Other then that staff were very friendly and helpful, food was great and wine was lovely! Really enjoyed it!
A fantastic Sunday lunch
Thank you very helping to make my Birthday celebrations so memorable. On three occasions in one week I was able to entertain three quite different groups of relatives and friends. The food, service, hospitality and atmosphere were all excellent.
Very welcoming, calm and beautifully refurbished pub. Very attentive, professional staff and above all, lovely food, with quirky combinations and well presented and hot. My only criticism is that I do not like food served in bowls, especially main courses. It is difficult to eat it properly, and rest your knife and fork between mouthfuls, or have food served on a chopping board. Bacteria heaven. What is wrong with plates ?
Lovely food. Service was good and food came out fast. Not cheap but worth it.
The food, service and ambience was absolutely brilliant.
Very nice food, prompt service, friendly staff and good sized tables.
It was an excellent venue for a family party.
Never had a bad meal - always good food and great value for money. Thank you.
Sorry for the accident with the drink we spilt.
Attentive and helpful staff. Excellent food. We will be back soon.
Fabulous food and great place for Sunday lunch and good family catch up
It was by far the best Sunday roast I have ever eaten.
The waiter forgot to serve the white wine with the starter. Similarly we had to remind him what wine we had ordered to go with the main course. Whilst I DID see the prices on the menu, our friends paid the bill, so I am not sure what the final bill came to
Fab, food , service as always, very friendly welcome, lovely environment, whether your a large group or a couple, you keep maintaining the same high standard. Thank you x
yet another wonderful experience! I took my 92 year old Mother in law as a treat and she was thrilled with everything. Thank you.
We've lost count of how many times we have been to this restaurant and have already booked 2 visits in November along with a christmas party/meal in December. I can't fault it from the welcome and service to the food and ambience. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
The food was very tasty, well presented and good quality. The staff were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.
This was our 3rd visit to The Blacksmith Arms, the only difference was that we brought different family members, we are always seated on the top floor which we love and like always the restaurant didn't disappoint with everyone saying the food was fantastic, along with the service and admiring the decor!
All good, nice meal with good company, just a shame they never brought us the breads & olives we had asked for whilst waiting our starters.......
I booked the Blacksmith Arms for a relaxed work team meeting, the service, atmosphere and food were excellent and was commented on by all that attended the following day.
Our food was quick and delicious, service was very good.
