About The Black Rabbit Laleston
A casual dining experience by Chef Jonathan Lewis at The Black Rabbit, Laleston
Fantastic Food, Great Service, but it was really cold in the restaurant the poor lady behind me kept her coat on all night.
Always excellent food and friendly service. Speaking as a London resident, the Black Rabbit is easily the equal and often superior to anything available here.
Enjoyed our meal, good service, will recommend and definitely a return visit.
Great little place. Lovely staff, great service and decent house wines. Will definitely be back!
Warm welcome, excellent service, lovey food
Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch. Very accommodating even when we increased our booking size. Can’t wait to go back. Perhaps wouldn’t take my youngest back though as he is a fussy eater and no alternative/children’s menu on a Sunday. The staff were fantastic and accommodating and offered chips. If he ate a roast I’d have no problem taking him next time. Loved it otherwise.
Booked Sunday dinner at The Black Rabbit for 4 adults and 1 toddler. From the moment we walked in the staff were welcoming and very helpful. Atmosphere was lovely. Food was stunning. From start to finish a really enjoyable experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you
Seats are uncomfortable
Fourth time we have visited. Always so professional. Excellent place to visit
I ordered smoked haddock and sweet corn fritter as starter and what I got was a big ball that looked like a scotch egg but was basically a round fish cake, it was very tasty and cooked well, but it was not a fritter. My issue was that I ordered chicken for main which came with a croquet which was exactly the same as the fritter starter but with bacon, again very lovely, but it was a bit much having two of these in one sitting, if I had known they were going to be same thing I would have ordered differently.
Amazing food. Lovely atmosphere, the service was excellent, all the staff were lovely. exceptional value for money for beautiful tasty food. Loved the pub next door too!
Amazing as always - sorry for arriving early :-)
Really impressed with Sunday lunch
A very enjoyable night
The service was fantastic. We are new to being a vegetarian so a vegan evening seemed like a great way to have more choice on the menu. The food was great although the main meals were not quite as good as when we've eaten off the main menu in the past - perhaps just because we're still getting used to it though! Loved the concept though and would definitely come again!
High standards maintained
Lovely food. Would definitely come again.
Lovely meal. Will certainly be back
Exceptional food and friendly welcoming service. You can tell the menu has been put together with passion and thought. Chef Jonathan, his family and staff should be extremely proud of what they have achieved.
Would be useful for customers to know the pub is a separate business. Initially figured I'd be able to pay the tab at the bar and got a very odd reception from the bloke in there!! However, the food, service and atmosphere was very very good indeed. Will most certainly come back next time I'm in the area
Beautiful meal we were a table of 8 . Excellent service by the young waiter called rhys he couldn't do enough for us ..Highly recommend this resturant
Excellent as ever.
The prawn & charizo linguine was suberb. Rhys was on form as always.
understand you had been closed for some time , but the place was very cold and it made our visit very uncomfortable
