Very enjoyable meal, nicely presented and reasonably priced. Good service. 👏
3rd visit this year.consistently excellent
Good food and service and really friendly staff definitely plan a return visit.
Food was delicious. Service was very quick & the staff were friendly.. The restaurant is very brightly lit & would benefit from softer lighting for a more relaxing dining experience.
I went here with my mother on a quiet Monday lunchtime, using a great value Itison voucher which included 2 courses and a glass of wine (or soft drink). Booking was very simple with very quick responses by email. The choices on the set menu were very good, I could have had anything, the portions were very generous and the food tasty. Service was slick and friendly, the drinks seem reasonably priced and the decor in the restaurant is very tasteful, including a really nice fire. I will be back!
The Blackbull offers great pub food at a very reasonable price, only gripe is I prefer smaller chips, great night had by all, we will be back
Great food and service! Enjoyed the cocktails too.
Love the black bull, it’s family friendly and the staff couldn’t do enough for you, the food is great and the kids meals are home made, amazing value for the kids meals no frozen nuggets here, only down side is the chips they are too chunky. Overall fantastic value will be back soon.
Good food. Went for lunch and had starter and main. Big portions meant no space for dessert. Lovely coffee to finish off the meal
We had a lovely Christmas lunch at the Black Bull. Portions were great, service was friendly and welcoming. Was definitely value for money and we are looking forward to returning in January for afternoon and high teas which are starting up. Would highly recommend visiting here.
Already talk about coming back next year!
I had a good meal, unfortunately my colleague didn't enjoy hers though. Service was good but there was some tension after my colleague returned her meal.
Amazing food and service. We were staying at the Macdonald Hotel not far away. Lovely restaurant.
Food was good. Great service. Staff not too pushy and atmosphere very relaxing.
Great food nice decor and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Lovely food and great service, will be back
Highly Recommended - Excellent Service, Friendly and Very Helpful Staff, Good Affordable Food in Pleasant Surroundings - Very Happy, Thanks!
Haggis pakora and spiced onions were brilliant!
Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Would recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our waitress did a great job. Only thing slightly off putting was the cutlery etc getting cleaned or dried and put into trays very close to us. It would really be better if this could be done out of sight/sound.
Great place, great food
Service was very slow. My friend ordered faghitas and i ordered the blackened chicken salad. I had ordered the salad before and it was really tasty but on this occasion it was basically the same faghita chicken my friend had. The chicken was also quite grisely. Chips were also either over coooked or re heated. I highlighted this to the waitress and she said she would speak to the kitchen but nothing else was done
