About The Bieldside Inn
Situated to the west of Aberdeen, but within the city limits, The Bieldside Inn offers various areas of relaxation and dining space to suit your mood including the lounge bar, restaurant and outdoor balcony. During the warmer months the restaurant expands on to the balcony for an inside/outside dining experience. Since PB Devco's takeover of The Bieldside Inn in October 2011, "The Bielder" (as it is affectionately named by locals), has gone from strength to strength, offering customers new vibrant food menus and high levels of service. The menus are regularly changed, but the old favourites are never far away. The restaurant is open every day and offers a range of traditional Scottish and pub food with a few slightly more exotic creations thrown in for good measure. The Bieldside Inn also offers a function room with a private bar, perfect for wine tastings, parties or corporate seminars. "The Bielder" has built and maintained a reputation for high levels of service and delicious, quality food menus, why not come down and see for yourself?
Place was closed, shocking. You should of told us!!!
Couldn’t fault it, good food in nice atmosphere.
Lovely food, only criticism was that the on line menu is not the same as the actual menu, but food was delicious none the less.
Couldn’t fault it, very good evening
Really good. Myself, my wife and my grandparents were all really happy with the hole experience while we were there for our supper. Food was amazing and served quickly. Waiters coming round and getting fresh drinks. Would highly recommend and shall be coming back.
Foods were fresh & delicious . Very friendly atmosphere. Thanks
Lovely meal. Ate early so difficult to comment on atmosphere. Staff were very attentive but not overbearing.
Staff are very friendly and look after you with unbelievably good service. Highly recommend. Specially the dark haired lady behind the bar.
Excellent food quality. Good menu. Attentive and friendly service. Relaxed dining at its best.
Excellent meal and the staff were friendly and attentive.
Lovely restaurant, staff very efficient and friendly with excellent service. Will certainty be back
Super food and attentive service. Many thanks.
My wife and I loved our meal on Sunday, the only minor negative feedback that I have was I thought the rump steak was over priced for the quantity of food I received. The steak tasted very good but I was a bit surprised to see a flat rump steak. The service was first class. Over all this is a first class restaurant/ bar, brilliant staff and very tasty food.
Great Food and Wine - the Fierce Pie was awesome!
Consistent qquality of food and service, cant fault it
We had an excellent evening and the food was awesome!! service was brilliant and it was a great night , keep up the good work !!!!!
Lovely meal although potatoes like warm. Also charged twice for the full set menu! Not good !
The cauliflower soup was AMAZING!!
Underwhelmed by my experience. Service was slow, had to ask for a second round of drinks. And £8.50 for three tiny prawns- need I say more? (£2.80 per prawn). Overall won’t be returning again.
Fantastic food and a timely pleasant service.
Service a little slow considering the place was very quiet. Food was great though and will definitely be back.
Best scampi I’ve ever had!
Lovely girly evening with great food and drink.
So disappointed. There were very few people in the restaurant and therefore a lack of atmosphere. We had long waits - for the menus, for the specials board, for the drinks and for the food, particularly between courses. The starters were reasonably tasty. For mains, two of our party had cod with a lobster bisque. There was a discrepancy in the size of the portion of fish, the lobster bisque was hick and unpleasant tasting, with none of the delicate, sweet lobster flavour and it spoiled the taste of the cod and vegetables. The others in our party had the pork loin in a bap. The presentation was messy, again there was a discrepancy in portion size - one had 2slices, one had 3(when really only 1 would have sufficed), and it was overcooked and tough. Even the chips were not the usual crisp and fluffy ones we expected. We have visited often in the past and have always been happy with the food and the service. The face that there were, unusually, very few people there suggests that others have been dissatisfied with their dining experience. Such a disappointment.
