About The Bay Hotel
Seaside Pub + Brasserie located in Port Erin.
The food is fabulous. However, as a pescatarian allergic to shellfish, the choice is a little limited. It would be great to see a wider menu of vegetarian starters and main courses. The service is good. Attentive, but you can have a conversation without interruption :)
We all had fish and chips. The food was excellent; batter crisp and fish perfectly cooked. Thank you
Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere, staff were pleasant too. Only thing would say is that the cauliflower main was a bit expensive for what it is... but none the less tasted great! Queenies, flourless orange cake, pork belly were all to die for!
Another golf group have a memorable evening. 14 happy chaps enjoy a quality meal on the Southern Riviera. Thank you for looking after my guests, Ged
Excellent food, some unusual items too, the Skate wings were delicious. Vegetable sides are large portions, 1 between 2 of each is ample. You can see the Chefs preparing your food, all freshly cooked.
Great restaurant in a lovely location. It has brought a new lease of life to The Bay and Port Erin beach front. A true staycation vibe.
Good standard of food and service with a nice cosy feel to the restaurant. Would definitely visit again soon and well worth the trip down to Port Erin
Could do with more variation on the fish side of the menu
The staff were brilliant and very helpful especially with me as I have health issues (coeliac) which means I have to be very careful in what I eat. They understood my condition and made me confident that they could accommodate me despite being a very busy night. For that I am really most appreciative. The food and drink were excellent and our party enjoyed a great night.
Great cooking and good service. A good price and good winecso we were very happy and will keep returning!
Great menu, atmosphere and accommodating with our toddler. Good gluten free options too
Very enjoyable evening with very helpful staff
Paper napkins and no fish knife. Location of my table was in the walkway near the serving hatch. I had been advised by a local manx person that this was a better class of restaurant. I enjoyed the food but it was not reflective of the presentation shown on the website. If you have higher standards outside of the TT period, I would request that you retain these standards during the TT period.
Fabulous meal and service even though very busy - very enjoyable evening
No further comment other than we enjoyed our evening.
Great food with great service to the back drop of an amazing setting
Lovely meal, will definitely be back!
Enjoyed a great meal at Little Fish at The Bay. Delicious food and friendly service
The queenies as a main course were really good but the rest of us had fish and chips which was really disappointing
Located next to the beach in Port Erin and serving tasty/interesting food. Having a real ale option on tap is a real bonus. Following a lovely meal, sit on the wall outside with a pint and watch the sun go down. Perfection..
Great as usual
wonderful food and service. We had a few requests for our food: one of us coeliac and 2 of us slightly fussy, and the staff made us feel very welcome and the chef was quite happy to help.
I took my friend to lunch yesterday for her birthday on Wednesday. We enjoyed the cod and crayfish on the specials board but the broccoli was undercooked and stringy, my friend choked on it and had to pull the string out of her mouth which was upsetting and embarrasing for her. I told the waitress, I hope she relayed the information to the chef as I'd asked her to do.
Excellent from start to finish
