About The Bay Horse Tavern
The Bay Horse Tavern - a modern take on the traditional British pub -Think The Rovers Return meets Soho House!
The Northern Quarter institution - dating from the Georgian era when the original venue was built - offers a selection of pies and locally-sourced rotisserie meats, including rib of beef, roast chicken and suckling pig, served with beef dripping chips or mash with fresh bread baked daily in-house. A selection of small plates are also available to buy - all plays on traditional pub classics as well as a wide range of bar snacks. Epic rotisserie roast dinners are available every Sunday.
Behind the bar is a range of cask and keg beers from Greater Manchester breweries along with a comprehensive spirits selection including more than 30 gins. Wines are all available by the glass from a thoughtful list that includes English Pinot Noir and sparkling wine from Chapeldown, While a simple selection of seven cocktails covers classics such as Irish coffee and bloody marys.
We had bottomless brunch at the Bay Tavern. We orders full English breakfast which was delicious, the drink kept flowing. Our waitress was lovely, she really looked after us. Will definitely visit again.
Very good service, great food and nice atmosphere, what more do you want in a pub!!
The staff are great, very friendly. As always, the food was amazing.
Always love coming to the Bay Horse. Great food and lovely atmosphere!
Really enjoyed our visit. My cheese fondue and pork bites and my steak pie were both a little bit overcooked. But, it was great value for money and the service was superb!!!
Great Monday night meal.
Usual great experience!
Very impressed with the food, service and the fact that because it is a pub, the atmosphere was great.
As always, great pies, great wine, and great service.
Great Sunday lunch
Love this venue.
Music was just a little too loud for 5pm on a Sunday
Lovely Sunday lunch
11 of us booked in for Bottomless Brunch. We had a great time. The food was gorgeous and the drinks were lovely. It was table service so no trips needed to the bar. With The Bottomless brunch, you get to pick a breakfast meal, most of us went for the Full English. The food was of excellent quality. The beans came in a separate little pan. There was a list of drinks included with the brunch. This included Prosecco, wine, mimosa, Irish coffee, beer and soft drinks. It was excellent value for money. You get to keep your table for 2 hours. We were asked frequently if we wanted more drinks. The place was full with a great atmosphere. I definitely recommend everyone tries this place. I will be going back.
Attentive waitresses and lovely food
As always, everything about this place is great!
Generous with the drinks but did disappear 15 minutes before the end of our Bottomless brunch time slot and at times could not keep up with demand (large group). Also ran out of Irish coffees. They made 2 large tables for us and one tiny one, three equal size would have been preferred. Staff friendly, food was good and came out promptly. Great wide selection of drinks on offer, would come back again.
Great food lovely staff definitely go back again
Held a reunion for former colleagues. Great central venue. Friendly staff who were keen to make sure everything went OK! Thanks
As always, amazing food, amazing wine, and great service.
Really good service on a busy Friday evening
