About The Bay Horse Tavern
The Bay Horse Tavern - a modern take on the traditional British pub -Think The Rovers Return meets Soho House!
The Northern Quarter institution - dating from the Georgian era when the original venue was built - offers a selection of pies and locally-sourced rotisserie meats, including rib of beef, roast chicken and suckling pig, served with beef dripping chips or mash with fresh bread baked daily in-house. A selection of small plates are also available to buy - all plays on traditional pub classics as well as a wide range of bar snacks. Epic rotisserie roast dinners are available every Sunday.
Behind the bar is a range of cask and keg beers from Greater Manchester breweries along with a comprehensive spirits selection including more than 30 gins. Wines are all available by the glass from a thoughtful list that includes English Pinot Noir and sparkling wine from Chapeldown, While a simple selection of seven cocktails covers classics such as Irish coffee and bloody marys.

Booked a table for the England vs Croatia semi-final. The staff were amazing. So friendly. Great service 😀
Hi, very impressed with the bottomless brunch I attended for my birthday on Saturday - despite the England match being on and being moved from blackdog - bay of horses were very accommodating in particular Lauren still felt very looked after despite how busy it was. thanks Alison
Enjoyed the bottomless brunch for my birthday - food was delicious, good variety of drinks included - the 2 hours flew by!
Absolutely brilliant and the waitresses were fantastic! Great selection of food and drink and were very accommodating.
Loved the pie's. Best we've had in a long time
There was a big group (17 of us) in for bottomless brunch on Saturday and it was fantastic - definitely the best bottomless brunch I've been to in Manchester with a fantastic range of brunch/drink options. The lady looking after us (we can't remember your name, sorry) was fantastic and was a credit to the team at The Bay Horse Tavern. We will definitely be back.
great food, great beer, great service!
Our party of six really enjoyed our visit, staff were extremely friendly and the food was spot on. Thank you.
We had bottomless brunch on Sunday 17th June. Had a fantastic time, we were treated amazing as soon as we walked in. Our daughter was treated amazing by all staff and our dog had the best day! Thank you
Really lovely food and service and our two little dogs were made to feel very welcome too. Thanks for looking after us.
Surely the best pies in Manchester! Friendly and helpful staff.
Incredible sandwiches and great local beer
Full English breakfast was amazing, and the staff were really friendly
Great food and friendly staff. The only small criticism was that a particular gin wasn't available and the alternative gin cocktail wasn't as good as expected (couldn't taste much of the gin!). However, overall I enjoyed the evening and would definitely return :-)
We had a lovely amount of space - more than expected and all the staff were super friendly.
Fantastic food and drink options and quality for the bottomless brunch, and the service was impeccable. I never write reviews but feel I have to it was that good!!
I recently came in and dined with several friends over the bank holiday weekend. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly front of house staff who quickly sorted out a table for my group. We all had a variety of meals, which all lived up to the reviews we had read. -Steak and ale pie -Goats cheese salad -Fish and chips -The burger -Halloumi sandwich and the BLT (which was enormous) The bar staff were also very knowledgeable, as they were able to recommend several wines- The Guv' being our favourite red and the Arca Nova as our favourite white for the day. We will certainly be back again.
Amazing Sunday roast. Had to take some home with me. Great service from the young lad with floppy dark hair and elephant necklace. Cheeky chappy.
Really friendly service
