About The Barn At Lichfield
80 seater restaurant, divided in 4 areas.
First time at the Barn; we shall be coming again at some point.
Really enjoyed a pleasant evening out. Great food and service.
Had a 90th birthday party for my dad with 20 guests coming from UK, France, Ireland and Holland. Carla was brilliant, nothing was to much trouble. Everyone loved their food and the tables were laid out for us all to sit together. The restaurant really helped to make my dad's birthday really special. Thank you so much. I would recommend The Barn without any hesitation.
Chicken Katsu curry rice cold and sent back second lot hot but not good. Curry disappointing. Waiting staff dealt with complaint well not charged for dessert but meal overpriced.
I had my baby shower there yesterday 11/11/18. Absolutely amazing day. Fully recommend this for anybody looking to the same. Staff were amazing, friendly, helpful. Went that extra mile to accommodate all my needs.
Easy to book. Lovely atmosphere. Staff very friendly and efficient . Not huge choice in menu but acceptable
The staff were unfriendly and didn't listen to what was asked. When bringing the food over didn't ask who had what main expecting us to tell them.biggest grip was the Sunday dinner in a bowl ! No idea what the greenery was doing there either. Certainly wouldn't go back.
Price does not reflect the quality of food. Way too expensive . Not much choice . Will not be returning
Menu is very lacking in choice compared to previous visits. Quality of the food and service is great and zero complaints but there needs to be a serious revisit of the menu. Two people walked out whilst we were there due to lack of choice on the menu. Items are also over priced, for example £22 for a 10oz sirloin and then £2 for a sauce? Sticky toffee pudding for £7.50? This is Staffordshire, not greater London! This is a real shame as the quality of food, the service and the location is perfect.
Lovely food and excellent portion sizes for adults and children. Waiting staff were great but there were significant delays between courses and we had to chase up desserts a number of times. It was a busy night with a fireworks display taking place so this may have been why service was slow. Overall a great place and we would return.
Food was lovely and so were the drinks. Loved the decor and atmosphere will definitely be back.
Disappointing Menu Saturday 4pm. Dirty water glass, needed replacing. On a positive note what we had was excellent quality and the plates and food were pleasingly hot.
Thank you to all the staff who served us at our celebration lunch in the Leomonsley dining room. They were all attentive and friendly. It was extremely well organised particularly as 20 people were served a good variety of delicious food. We look forward to returning.
Lovely decor & atmosphere, enjoyed a very relaxing lunch on Saturday. All food was great, would recommend.
The food was good but we waited at reception for someone to greet us. We also waited for a while for the waitress to take our order and our dessert choice. There needs to be more wine selection and is expensive for what it was
Without a doubt the best roast dinner in the area. We have been many times and have always had a brilliant meal. Slight negatives, they never brought out any cauliflower cheese for any of us and the puddings that were served didn’t match the descriptions. My wife ordered a chocolate and orange torte, sounded original and delicious. What she received was a tiny slice of chocolate torte and a cheap strawberry ice cream. Good job your roasts are awesome otherwise we would probably go elsewhere.
Had an amazing birthday lunch at the Barn last Sunday. Great food, outstanding service and beautiful interior!!! My mum who is vegetarian was very impressed with her vegetarian meal (she usually is very fussy). We all will definitely come again and would recommend this place 100%.
The door was opened for us on arrival, the chef spoke with us about the menu, the service and friendliness of the team was fab, the food was delicious
Very disappointed with our experience. Although some staff were lovely, and decor/setting is lovely the lack of many dishes from the menu and less than average food wasn’t great. All in all, wouldn’t go back.
Food is very nice, but service lacks a little, asked the waitress who was serving us what came with the steak? She had no idea, had to ask for more cutlery with every course, and they got the coffe order completely wrong.
Took over 15 minutes to take our drinks order but luckily food was lovely.
Excellent friendly service, large group booking and managed various requests. Lovely helpful waitresses and a great manager who came to check all ok
Excellent place totally recommend it the ambiance service and the welcoming staff were superb. Hard to find such places in the modern day.
I would not recommend going here at all. Service was shockig had to remind staff 3 times to get our drinks. 30minutes before they came. Camembert was hard in the middle. Was there nearly 2hours and still hadn't recieved our main meal. They then gave our meal to the wrong customers so we had to wait even longer. The meal wasn't even worth the wait, lamb was extremely fatty, chewy and stringy. Cauliflower cheese was has and not ebible. Waitresses and the man I pressume was running the shift would apologise, but nothing was actually ever done. We dined at the barns to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was defiantly not an enjoyable experience.
I booked a table for 3pm for lunch online with my family we drove 45 mins to check out the venue for an event as we got there i was called to say the kitchen closes at 3 but the website and online booking system had not been updated . But Carly and the staff were very helpful and kept the kitchen open for us which was lively food and service was great thank you to Carly and the kitchen staff! Excellent food too!! Big thank you
