About The Barn At Lichfield
80 seater restaurant, divided in 4 areas.
Wonderful place. Service was great and food was delicious
The food was great - there were so many nice things on the menu it was hard to choose! Friendly staff and the service was good. I would definitely visit again.
Waitress had little knowledge of drinks. Order was wrong twice. Beef was rare but we weren't informed. No apologies. Manager shoved money tray in our face on depature. Appalling and so unprofessional. We were most upset.
was disappointed not to able to sit outside on the terrace as there was a private party booked. We ordered a bottle of prosecco with our meal but the waitress brought wine glasses not flutes to the table when questioned was told none available so asked her not to open the bottle so she looked again and luckily found some.
Great meal with great company. Thought the waitress was excellent
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was at a high standard and very enjoyable experience for me and better half.
Took 20 mins for our drinks to turn up. Music from private event on terrace meant we couldn’t hear each other. Then a group of 10 from the private event came and sat near us and were absolutely hammered made it even louder. Didn’t see waitress again after said no to dessert - had to go and pay at the bar. Saw her sat at a table chatting when we left. Meant she didn’t get her tip.
Lovely place and staff so friendly. Will definitely come back 💯
maybe we simply went at the wrong time.
Food took an age to come (45 mins). Given a 10% discount. Drinks were a little faster, but not by much. Food was sort of OK, but not good value for money. The Quiona burger, wasn't available so was offered a sweet potato burger instead, which wouldn't have been too bad, but it came with sweet potato fries (bit of an overload). The salmon and beetroot was a big disappointment. The mash was wet and only had a hint of beetroot. The salmon was overcooked and dry. The mussels were OK but a lot were empty. The belly pork was tough and under-cooked. Couldn't be bothered to complain as we were moving on to the theater and didn't have time for them to recook the food. I will try it again to see if this is typical, but they better do it right next time.
Very polite very friendly staff
I will definitely be back, really liked the place
The food and service we received was brilliant. The staff was also very friendly and lovely to my two children. Highly recommended
had a really good meal at The Barn, the service from Carly and Anne Marie was first class.
Could be more of a selection of desserts & didn’t have any appletizer, had the Shepard’s pie which was lovely ! Service was good , friendly staff, all in all very good !
Everything was very good, other than wait for food. Sat down at 6.25, ordered for 6.40 but no food arrived until 7.25, too long to wait personally, but we did, glad we did as food was very good, many thanks
The food was excellent as was the service. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.
Good service but meals were not very hot
Excellent, professional and friendly service all the way. Lovely food in a warm and inviting environment, thank you!
We both ordered the chicken Sunday roast, on the menu it was described as "Roast Potatoes, Chicken & Bacon Stuffing, Chipolatas, Yorkshire Pudding, Roasting Jus". On arrival of the meals, we only were given chicken, roast potatoes, carrots and a Yorkshire pudding. We asked for the remainder of the meal and were told they did not have any of the other items and we were given a small ramakin of what looked like basic shop bought paxo stuffing just made with boil water and a mix packet. It felt like we were being fobbed off. And at £13.50 a roast, this was unfair. We asked to speak to the manager who was avoidant and didn't own the error which further depreciated the experience. Would not return and have told friends and family of the off putting experience. A shame considering an honest and upfront response would have lead to a resolution rather than a feeling of being fobbed off.
Great food.... shame about the service or lack off, considering the restaurant was empty we had to ask for everything more drinks, the bill and had to take the bill to the bar in the end to wait for someone to actually take our money. Would of happily spent more on drinks but wasnt asked. Would of happily had desert but wasnt asked. But the food was fab !
Food was good but the wait was too long. People at the next table came in after us, had starters and mains before ours arrived. It was cold as the back door was open.
Everything about the Barn on my last visit was good , the only thing that let it down was the service , which was very slow ... We arrived at 6.30 on a Thursday, a quiet night , but didn’t actually eat until just before 8pm ! Not great , unfortunately
Enjoyable meal with fresh vegetables which was good value for money. We had a child with us and we asked for changes from the menu and this was catered for without issue.
