About The Atrium Restaurant at Woodbury Park
Situated within the heart of the hotel, our main restaurant offers fireside dining and a relaxed bar area. Open for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner. The menu consists of firm family favourites, open sandwiches, a Devon pizza menu, Sunday lunches and in the evenings a modern european à la carte offering.
We ask that bookings of 12 or more are booked direct with us on 01395 233382
Had a lovely meal served by Chloe who was unbelievably helpful and friendly
Spa day lunch was ok but nothing special. We all had the chicken and avocado flatbread but it was a little dry. The desserts were good. Service was good.
We chose Woodbury Park as our wedding venue... 6 years on-to the day- we had our baby christened and came back for the reception. Lovely place with special meaning for us. Never disappoints.
We have frequently enjoyed Sunday lunch in the Atrium but have become increasingly disappointed. It has now reached a new low. The confirmation of our booking for 12.30 insultingly requested that we vacate the table one hour later. No Sunday lunch experoence should be time limited in this way unless the object is to discourage patronage. It surely was not because of massive bookings. Previously the service permitted phased bookings so that tables could be turned over twice during the session. The loss of the Carvery has been a major blow. The early stage of this unwelcome was the plated-up serving of meat with substantial quantities of vegetables served separately. Now it all comes ready plated, almost designed to disguise the apparent reduction in the quantity of meat. This in turn looks too uniform and thinly-sliced to be anything other than pre packed, not hand carved. Our waitress was charming but inexperienced, a factor which we readily overlooked because she engaged well with us and was very anxious that we should have an enjoyable experience. We chose glasses of Merlot which we had to return. We were offered a substitute but declined after a sample taste which might possibly have been marred due the lingering memory of the Merlot. The meal did not in anyway represent value for money, which may have been reflected in the limited number of people present. Their absence greatly and adversely impacts on the general ambience of the Atrium. Please revert to the tried and tested formula of the original Carvery, of which Woodbury was justly proud.
I booked for 4 people for afternoon tea, mistakenly they booked us into the Atrium, but were transferred to where afternoon tea was served, 2 of usordered the full afternoon tea with coffee, the other 2 guests had the procesco with coffee, coffees came with about half an inch of strong coffee in the bottom of the cup, one very small jug of hot milk to share between the 4 of us, (very disappointing) one very small jug of cold milk, not really useful due to mixing it with the tiny amount of coffee would have made the coffee stone cold, our sandwiches all 4 of us requested granary bread, but that didn’t happen either, they also mixed the sandwiches up, so one was eating crab instead of tuna ???
For some reason my booking was not registered with the staff (I had booked on line). However, it was a quiet time in the Atrium and although they could not find us on the guest list, we were given a table and were well looked after. We enjoyed a very pleasant meal in beautiful surroundings.
Had dinner in the Atrium restaurant as part of a hotel deal. Lots of choice - I had an excellent crab starter then a perfect rib-eye steak. Panna Cotta desert was fine...not spectacular. The rest of my party were equally impressed - all in all a really good experience.
Staff very friendly and helpful On Thursday the presentation was not as good as other times
Not as impressive as I expected.
We were pleased with the high level of service we received. Our 3 course meal was very nice, I had the rump steak which was cooked perfeclty. My wife had the chicken which was great. Beth our server was very polite and attentive. All in all the ambience was nice, the layout of the room was great, just could have been a bit busier for a Saturday night. Price wise it may have been a tad overpriced, but we enjoyed ourselves
Maria was very kind and attentive. Sunday roast was excellent and good value for money. Well worth the trip.
Your staff are amazing so helpful and happy to help with everything
