It would be nice to have a choice rather than just the set menu as there were 2 things we did not like. Overall it was s lovely experience though and I would recommend.
Very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for our party. Including extra cakes for a very happy toddler.
great service, the birthday box was a lovely touch!
Gluten Free option was awesome and service was really good.
It is a beautiful setting to enjoy a delicious treat - not something people get to do very often and well worth it. The service was impeccable!
lovely people lovely atmosphere great food
Was here before a year or 2 ago with a group and found it lovely but the prices have gone right up. The food was nice but we Found it to be very overly priced and expensive for what we got. And the price of a glass of wine was extortionate. Was also extremely quiet when we were there so very little atmosphere
absolutely fantastic experience . The staff are wonderful also .
Stunning venue. Staff we're amazing. Gluten free menu was fantastic
Our experience at The Atrium was very positive and we had a wonderful couple of hours there. In our group we had vegetarians and also one vegan who was catered for which was brilliant as we weren't expecting a vegan afternoon tea to be available. We enjoyed our experience very much, from the afternoon tea down to the The Atrium itself - a lovely airy room filled with light.
My friend, who's birthday gift this was and her friends had a fabulous time. Very relaxing. Great selection of teas and food. Very friendly service.
I have marked down for service as when I made the booking I specifically mentioned that the afternoon tea was for my fiance's birthday. When we arrived I could clearly see my reservation comment on the staff member's clipboard. However, nothing was mentioned at all about it. I was not expecting freebies but I thought a staff member would have wished him a happy birthday, which was quite disappointing and showed a lack of attention to detail.
The food was delicious! Everything was so fresh and tasty and just the right amount. I personally would have preferred a couple more savoury options as opposed to to sweet but that’s just me.
I have been many times for your afternoon tea always opting for your peculiar afternoon tea and not your regular one, up to now i have loved it and always recommended it to my friends and family however even though the food was still fabulous on the new botanical afternoon tea i was very disappointed with the new gin cocktail not a fan of it and i think by not serving it in the large china teapot with the beautiful china tea cup you have lost the wow factor i would now be slow to return and would no longer recommend it.
Amazing Botanical afternoon tea, lovely location and staff were fantastic
Whilst the food, drink and service were all wonderful we were a little disappointed to be charged €16 a glass for our champagne. I completely understand this price when you’re opening a bottle for one or two people but when there were 7 of us and we used the full bottle €16 a glass meant we paid €112 for a bottle of champagne that retails for around €40-€45, this is a little excessive when already paying for the afternoon tea. There were actually 10 of us altogether and 2 people had a second glass so we used 2 full bottles at the inflated price, you should consider offering a reduced price on champagne for large groups who use a full bottle or two.
Absolutely lovely time spent here. Staff were beautiful in every meaning of the word. Will definitely be back!
I received a voucher for afternoon tea as a gift- emailed the hotel stating the kind of afternoon tea the voucher was for when I booked it, arrived and had the afternoon tea, my friend brought the voucher to the desk at the end, staff told her the voucher number was missing from the envelope- I couldn’t remember seeing any card/ extra piece of paper but told staff it may have fallen out. We asked them to check their record of the voucher but they told us they keep no record of vouchers bought in hotel. My friend had a record on her online banking of the transaction and showed it to staff but they said this wasn’t enough. I offered to give my credit card details until I got home to check for the voucher number but they said we had to pay for the afternoon tea there and then. I was charged €136 for the afternoon tea even though my friend had only paid €108 for the voucher. I was told the price had changed since the voucher was bought. My friend demanded to see the manager who finally arrived 15 mins later. At this stage the whole room were aware that there was an issue which was extremely embarrassing. The manager told us there would be no problem in cross checking the card transaction my friend had on her phone against the hotel records. She came back a few mins later and told us she would have to wait for finance to do it on Monday. We asked about the extra charge but again she told us the price had changed. I went home and found the card- I have now rang the hotel twice but to no response. I have paid €136 for an afternoon tea which should have been covered by a voucher. It ruined the day for both me and my two friends as they were embarrassed by the issue with the voucher and the price increase. The staff in the atrium were extremely rude. The manager was helpful when she arrived but it was too late at that stage. We are three professional women in our thirties and we felt we were being accused of being criminals. I’m still waiting for a call back from the hotel having left 2 messages and now I will spend tomorrow at work trying to contact them on my break to get a refund. I was very disappointed with the behavior of the staff in the hotel and will be advising my friends and family to avoid the Westin in the future.
Sandwiches were disappointing, the cakes and scones were very good.
Nice surroundings. Good for a girly day out.
I had a wonderful Afternooon Tea at tThe Atrium with my friends. We were celebrating a Hen Party and they brought out a chocolate cake with Congratulations on it which was lovely. The food was delicious and the service was first class. Our waiter really did go above and beyond. The Atrium itself is beautiful and a fantastic place to spend the afternoon socializing with friends. I would definitely recommend Afternoon Tea at The Weston.
It was a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Me & my sister really enjoyed it. Everything was lovely. The service is fantatsic and the staff are so helpful, friendly and accommodating. One suggestion would be for the Botanical afternoon tea - maybe instead of 2 pieces of banana bread exchange one for a mini scone ? It is delicious banana bread but 2 slices is too much really.
A lovely afternoon out.
I booked afternoon tea to celebrate my mam's 60th birthday. The food was amazing, service was great and the lovely lady looking after us even included an extra little dessert with a candle in it for my mam. I will definitely be back, its a nice way to spend an afternoon with the girls
