I was utilising a walker (rollator). The service received was good but I had to park it myself as it was not parked for me and the chair given to me was far too low which I was never asked about. All in all bit disappointed.
What was lacking was attention to detail, prior to booking I had advised the hotel about a dietary requirement which was not noted on our booking. Also at the end it took us about 15-20min to catch the eye of a member of staff to ask for the bill. But otherwise it was fine.
It's a beautiful place for afternoon tea if it was just for a quiet tea or even with a few friends, your staff are lovely and very helpful, I would highly recommend the Westin for afternoon tea.
I booked a table for lunch for my husband & I- disappointed to be led to a table with no table cloth- it was explained to me when I questioned this that the dressed tables were for afternoon tea. Very off putting.
Requested presecco on arrival which I never got and a birthday plate which I had to remind the staff to get for me as I was there for my friends birthday.
Great time, will be back!!
A wonderful experience in beautiful surroundings
Very disappointing. The sandwiches were very small and it was nearly all pastries.
Fantastic service and amazing food. Wonderful treat for a day out.
Outstanding service. Food was delicious, both the traditional and the most peculiar afternoon tea menus. Extra coffee or tea was very expensive.
This was by far the best afternoon tea I have been to. We never felt rushed and the staff all looked so happy in their jobs. The lady looking after us was very friendly and chatty. I have already booked to go back in December.
Lovely experience. We had the traditional afternoon. The selection of savouries and cakes was delicious. We found the staff very attentive and The Atrium was a lovely setting. It was a lovely treat and I would definitely recommend it.
it was so much better than my already high expectations. Thank you for providing a memorable once in a lifetime experience during my stay in you amazingly beautiful country.
Wonderful experience. Food excellent, lovely atmosphere and great service
Unique experience and lovely surroundings
I rang several times over a 5 hour period to get a booking and in the end I got booked for 1pm and was not told on the phone that the slots were for two hours. I received a confirmation text and email right after booking which I did not open, these stated the two hour slot time. I arrived at 1.13pm. Both my guests were seated and were on time. The waiter took our drinks order at 1.30pm and then the afternoon tea order at 1.45pm. In my opinion this was slow service considering the two hour slot time. An hour later at 2.45pm the waiter told us that we had to finish by 3pm as they needed the table. I was not told this when I checked in nor were my guests when they sat down. This was the first time we were made aware of the two hour slot time. I explained this to the manager but he told me I would have gotten this is a text and he was very dismissive and matter of fact and about needing the table. He assured me we could have a table set for us in the bar but that the afternoon tea would need to be packed up. We got 15 mins grace and I paid. It was then that the manager offered up the fact that they do not remind guests on arrival or during afternoon tea that it is a 2 hour slot as this would be irritating. We moved to the bar, unassisted by any staff as was previously offered and I had the remainder of the afternoon tea in a box. However when I got home I was very disappointed to see that the creme brulee x 3 and some other items had not been packed yet I had paid for them. So more than likely these will be resold to another customer for Afternoon Tea as I can not see any reason why else I did not get them when I paid for them. Overall very disappointing service, with only a hint of concern for the situation from the manager when I was paying the 128euro bill.
Would like more savoury on the menu
Staff were excellent and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Food was excellent. Bonus that we could delay at the table at our leisure after we'd eaten. Would be an added luxury if there was a small cocktail menu in the Atrium as well as the extensive one in The Mint. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
2nd visit here and enjoyed it yet again. Great treat for us busy working mum's! Thoroughly enjoyed it and felt very welcome and service was excellent. Also, where can we get that lovely hand cream that was in ladies rest room? Looking forward to next visit. Thank you😊😊👍👍
We had an absolutely lovely afternoon. The lady that was working the day shift ( didn't get her name but I think she finished at 6pm) was so helpful and sat use in the cosy corner so my partner (male)wouldn't feel out of place with all the women there. Would highly recommend to all my friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
We had a wonderful afternoon. I will never forget it. My mum, mother in law to be sisters and close friends and children all felt very special just a week before my wedding. Afternoon tea at the Westin was a mini hen party for us. When my hubby to be and six month old son showed up fifteen minutes before we finished all the staff were very accommodating and welcoming!. Thank you for a memorable and special afternoon
My friend and I really enjoyed the afternoon tea. We decided to partake on the first day of our trip after a overnight flight. The food was amazing especially the fact that I was able to enjoy as I am coeliac. Thank you for providing us a wonderful kickoff to a wonderful week.
Fab fab fab!
First time doing afternoon tea.......I imagine it will be hard to beat.
