About The Aldwark Arms
The Hardisty brothers Pete, Andy and Ian are returning the Aldwark Arms to it’s rightful place at the heart of the Aldwark Village. They have bought the Aldwark Arms and following a period of intense re-furbishment, the pub will re-open from December 10th 2013 including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and into 2014. Welcoming, cosy and inviting, the Aldwark Arms will now offer a great range of real ales, a tempting menu created by Jim Wilkinson which includes high quality lunch and dinner menus prepared from locally sourced meat, fish and fresh produce on a daily basis complemented with a wide selection of excellent wines, soft drinks and of course those wonderful real ales. So whether you are wanting to dine out at night to a la carte standards, a hearty bar meal after a round of golf, some fishing or a good old country ramble, or a Sunday roast with all the trimmings with the whole family, there will be something to whet your appetite. The emphasis is on comfort and friendly but excellent service.
Well done guys, in a really difficult time you have successfully kept the charm and warmth of our local while keeping to all of the new rules and regulations.
Superb service as always. Brilliant to have you back open again. Keep it up.
Fantastic food and drink and they’re making a real effort to serve the community so please support them
Always a great place to come. Yummy food, fantastic staff and great atmosphere. Thanks to everyone - see you after lockdown!
Such a relaxing evening to celebrate our anniversary before lockdown. The staff were so lovely and the food amazing.
Brilliant as always, please don’t change anything 👍 Could you add chilli and lasagna to the menu ?
Fabulous as always.
Couldn't fault the food, and service
Another excellent meal great service and a chance to see familiar faces in a lovely welcoming setting

Amazing food, service and atmosphere as always well done guys
Saturday lunch with family was perfect.
Booked in for the 3 of us for our daughters 30th birthday celebrations- we were made really welcome , felt safe , the food was amazing
Travel to Aldwark manor hotel once a year and always make it a point of visiting pub when I’m there , great food and value for money, staff always make you feel welcome and look after you , see yous next year
Superb food and excellent service.
Although we arrived well on time the service was very slow, apologiese were made by staff who said that a lot of people had arrived at the same time. We were about the last to be served. We had to ask for for our table to be cleared so that we could order our desserts.I ordered a takeaway for my husband who did not have lunch with us , only to find out afterwards that I did not get 20% off as advertised for takeaways.
This was our first visit to the Aldwarke Arms for some years. The food, service & hospitality were exceptional so it won't be 'years' before we return!
Grate evening wit good food and service thank u very much
The lamb roast was amazing and much enjoyed by the both of us . We will be back !
Lovely food and certainly will be coming back to try the range of menu items. Really impressed with how accommodating and polite the staff were too. Massive plus that the Covid rules in place make you feel safe too.
Visited on Sunday the 25th of October for Mums birthday lunch. Fabulous service and food. Very kindly did a decorated slate with cake and a candle for her. We had a really lovely time, thank you so much! 🤗Highly recommend The Aldwalk Arms for friendliness, efficient, polite staff and absolutely delicious food.
Prompt and efficient service as always.
Lovely place, amazing food and an effort made to make a fuss of mum for her birthday. The service was a little bit slow (nothing major though) just we asked for water and that never came, when the wine came we had to ask again for glasses. The chips took a while to come after everything else. Like I say these are very minor and only to help you improve I would 100% come again!
Pie and a Pint - £10 - Superb
